Join AAA Cares as we wrap up our Fighting Hunger initiative from this summer with a hands‑on volunteer event at the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in Harrisburg. Together, we’ll help support families across our region by sorting, packing, and preparing food for distribution to local hunger‑relief partners.

Why It Matters
Nearly 48 million people in the United States—including more than 14 million children—experience food insecurity, the highest level since 2014. Rising costs and limited access to food have created a growing hunger crisis, and summer is an especially difficult time for families who lose access to school‑provided meals.
By volunteering with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, you’re helping ensure that more of our neighbors can bring home nutritious meals during a season of increased need. AAA Central Penn has contributed 8,779 volunteer hours since 2019, and your participation continues this powerful legacy of service.
