Found on the northern coast of the island New Providence, the Bahamian capital. Nassau, offers a look into this chain of islands known for their excellent beaches and rich culture. Just offshore is Paradise Island, a small island developed into a leisure haven, with luxury resorts and hotels.
Fun Things to Do:
- Explore Nassau, with amazing picturesque 18th to 20th century buildings, pastel-colored houses, and pink neoclassical government offices.
- Swim with Dolphins or interact with Sea Lions at Atlantis Dolphin Cay, one of the largest marine-mammal habitats in the world.
- Go on a glass-bottom boat tour for a glimpse into the underwater world of the Bahamas.
Half Moon Cay, The Bahamas
Half Moon Cay is an idyllic castaway island with soft white sandy beaches, lapped by calm blue waters. This is a private resort owned by Carnival designed as a prime cruising destination. Take advantage of the various amenities this island as to offer.

- The clear warm water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving.
- Enjoy kayaking at Bonefish Lagoon.
- Experience a stingray adventure by interacting with these amazing marine creatures by stroking their velvety wings.
Located on Grand Bahama Island, this landlocked city is the business center of the island. Freeport received its name for its duty-free status, with duty-free concessions on various imports for licensees. It is located a few miles from Lucaya, a tourist center with a village atmosphere and incredible shopping and dining venues.
Fun Things to Do:
- Experience The Bahamas National Trust Rand Nature Center to catch a glimpse of more than 40 species of birds including turkey vultures, Bahamas yellow throats, blue and curly tailed lizards, tree frogs, and more.
- Relax on the white sandy beaches while taking in the views of the shallow, crystal-clear waters.
- Visit the straw market in the International Bazaar, a once prominent shopping area.

As of the writing of this brochure, all travelers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the last dose having been administered at least 14 days prior to departure to travel with Carnival Cruise Line. Additional COVID-19 related requirements including a pre-embarkation test may be required. As travel policies are rapidly changing, the final requirements will be communicated prior to departure.

On average, temperatures in the Bahamas in February is in the 80’s. Daytime, casual clothes, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Evenings require casual or semiformal attire, with two formal nights.
Two suitcases per person will be allowed. You may also bring a small carry-on bag.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
