Wednesday, May 15: Depart for Honolulu

Depart for Honolulu! Transfer by motorcoach to a local airport for a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii. Transfer to your Waikiki Beach resort and embrace the island spirit. Hotel: Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach

Thursday, May 16: Pearl Harbor - USS Missouri - Honolulu City Highlights Tour

Enjoy a full day excursion exploring Honolulu. First, visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial including the USS Arizona Memorial (subject to availability). You'll watch an introduction film before boarding a Navy-operated shuttle boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial where you will  have time to take in the memorial itself, before returning to the visitor center. The Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center Exhibit Gallery will bring you closer to the sights and sounds of the events leading up to the attack on Oahu and its aftermath. The galleries display a variety of personal memorabilia, dramatic photographs, artifacts of the battle, and other exhibits. Throughout the facility are interpretive exhibits that invite visitors to imagine the experience of that tragic day. Being at Pearl Harbor is a humbling and moving experience. Next visit the 60,000-ton battleship, USS Missouri before driving through the Punchbowl National Cemetery. Your day concludes with a Honolulu city highlights tour taking you through downtown where you will see the state capitol building, the Iolani Palace (the only royal palace in the United States), the imposing King Kamehameha statue, and more. Return to your hotel this evening and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. (Breakfast)

Friday, May 17: Honolulu

Today is at your leisure! Consider spending they day soaking up the sun on Waikiki Beach or shopping for the perfect souvenir along the Waikīkī Beach Walk. This evening you'll gather with your fellow travelers for an included dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Saturday, May 18: Honolulu 

Depart your hotel this morning for a mini-circle island tour. Enjoy a stop at the Diamond Head Lookout, the Halona Blow Hole, and the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, before arriving to the port to board your ship, the PRIDE OF AMERICA®

Disembark the ship and transfer to the Honolulu Airport for your flight and transportation back to Central Pennsylvania.

Deposit of $250 per person/$500 per cabin will confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by  January 5, 2024.

After April 17, 2024- NON REFUNDABLE

Insurance

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

Clothing/Climate

Average temperatures for Hawaii in May are in the 80s. Daytime, casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Casual clothing is welcome in the buffet and in most specialty restaurants onboard the ship. In the more formal dining room and upscale specialty restaurants, smart casual dress is required. There are no required formal nights; however, there is an optional 'Dress Up or Not' night where you can choose to wear more formal clothing.  

Baggage

One suitcases per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by the airlines or airport. by the cruise line. 

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
