The morning is yours to relax or explore this charming city independently. Perhaps you’ll visit the renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium or walk along Monterey’s Path of History – a self-guided tour of the city’s historic landmarks. This afternoon, the scenery of your dreams comes alive as you travel along the famed 17-Mile Drive to Carmel. Wednesday, March 15, 2023: Oakdale and Tuolomne (Yosemite)
Travel east through California’s Central Valley and along the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Stop in Oakdale, where almond and walnut orchards dot the landscape. Meet up with a local farmer, who will show you around town and bring you to his small farm where you’ll enjoy a taste of central California. Monday, March 20, 2023: Depart San Francisco to Central Pennsylvania
Your tour comes to a close today, leaving you with many fond memories. Transfer to the San Francisco International Airport for your flight and transportation back to Central, PA (Breakfast)

This tour requires moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs, or on uneven walking surfaces, should be expected.

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.
For your protection, AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Temperatures for this region in March average in the 60s with cooler evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered work best. Comfortable walking shoes and a small umbrella are recommended.
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing needed assistance.
