6:00AM - Motorcoach will depart Lancaster, from the former AC Moore store located 1515 Lititz Pike at the Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/Route 272 side of the store.
7:00AM - Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Road, upper lot behind building; travel to Cape May, NJ a rest stop en route.
Welcome to America’s original seaside resort with pristine beaches, promenade, and all the amenities that make a seashore town worth visiting along with rich history and architectural diversity. Cape May Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has one of the country’s largest collections of 19th century framed buildings.
You will have independent time before and after the cruise to get a bite to eat, explore the sites, and enjoy the shops.
This afternoon board the Cape May Whale Watcher for a three hour fully narrated nature whale and dolphin cruise. The captain and his seasoned crew will take you into the Delaware Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. The Delaware Bay Estuary is a sanctuary for many species of Marine Life. The unique confluence of fresh and saltwater make for a nutrient rich area teeming with life and conducive to whale and dolphin activity.
6:00PM - Approximate departure time for Central Pennsylvania with a fast-food dinner stop en-route.
10:00PM - Approximate arrival time back in Harrisburg.
11:00PM - Approximate arrival time back in Lancaster.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distance, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.

Temperatures for Cape May, NJ in October average in the 60s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
