Chesapeake Bay Lighthouse Cruise
Sit back and feel the wind in your hair as you sail on a 65 foot yacht through the Chesapeake Bay. This tour features a costumed guide who will regale guests with the history behind this important waterway and its beautiful lighthouses. After the cruise use your time on your own to get the know the historic seaport of Annapolis and its many shops and restaurants.

6:30AM: Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Road, upper lot behind the building.
7:30AM: Motorcoach will depart Lancaster, AC Moore store, at the Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/Route 272 side of the store; travel to Annapolis, MD with a rest stop en route. Arrive at the Annapolis City Dock to board a 65 foot yacht and begin a three hour Chesapeake Bay Lighthouse Cruise. Sit back and enjoy the wind in your hair as you cruise along the Chesapeake Bay with the costumed lighthouse keeper. Journey back in time to when lighthouses were manned in the Chesapeake Bay in order to keep passing ships warned of danger. Men and Women of the 19th century kept at their post, but ours will keep you entertained and engaged with humor, anecdotes, music, tales of famous keepers, and ghost stories. A boxed lunch will be provided during the cruise. Following the cruise enjoy spending independent time in Annapolis, with 18th century buildings it’s like stepping back in time to the days when the city was a colonial seaport. Leisure time is included for dinner on your own. Annapolis has a large variety of restaurants to satisfy every taste.
6:00PM: Approximate departure time for Central Pennsylvania with a fast food dinner stop en route.
8:30PM: Approximate arrival time back in Lancaster
9:30PM: Approximate arrival time back in Harrisburg

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distance, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.
Full payment of $159 per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation. Solo Travelers Rewards Club maximum voucher redemption: $20

Temperatures for Maryland in July average in the 80s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared
for potential inclement weather.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and
totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
