Wednesday, November 4: Travel to Cape Cod, Olde Mistick Village
5:30AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lancaster, AC Moore store located in Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/ Route 272 side of the store.
6:30AM: Depart from Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Road; travel to Massachusetts with appropriate rest and meal stops en route.
We’ll make a stop at Olde Mistick Village, stroll the beautiful lanes and enjoy shopping in distinctive buildings designed to represent an 18th century New England Village. The shopkeepers pride themselves on offering some of the most interesting and unique items from around the world. Enjoy free time for shopping and lunch.
As we continue on for a fun-filled adventure to the Bay State we’ll ‘quench our thirst’ for history as we sip and sample our way around coastal Massachusetts! Breathe the salt sea air and feel the coastal breezes as we arrive to the beautiful shores of Cape Cod. Our first visit will be at the Cape Cod Beer Brewery for a sampling of their finest brews. Check into the hotel with time to relax and freshen up before dinner at a local restaurant. Hotel: Aiden Hotel by Best Western at Cape Point, West Yarmouth, MA (Dinner)
Thursday, November 5: Chatham, Provincetown Dune tour & Truro Vineyards
Following breakfast, depart with our guide for a fun-filled day of touring the lower and outer Cape! Begin with touring the charming seaside village of Chatham with a picture stop at the Chatham Light. We’ll continue on to the Cape Cod National Seashore for spectacular views off the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continue on to Provincetown, the tip of the Cape, and spend some time browsing the downtown waterfront area with all its artistic and eclectic shops. Next we’ll depart in Suburban’s on a dune tour of the Cape, enjoying the beautiful natural scenery and coastline. We’ll finish off the afternoon with a visit to Truro Vineyards for a special private tour and wine tasting. Enjoy a walk through the vines and learn about the growing process along with a presentation on fermentation in the barrel room. Following the tour you’ll sample vintage wines accompanied by a sampling of artisan cheese. Tonight we’ll feast on a traditional Cape Cod lobster dinner at one of the Cape’s popular seafood restaurants. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Friday, November 6: Hyannis, Sandwich, Plymouth - Brewery Tour & Historic Tavern Tour
After breakfast we’ll check out of our hotel and depart for a day of touring in Hyannisport. Home to the Kennedy’s we’ll make a photo stop at the Kennedy Memorial and Korean War Memorial overlooking scenic Veteran’s Beach and Cape’s oldest town of Sandwich. As we make our way to America’s Hometown of Plymouth we’ll enjoy a guided tour with photo stops at the National Monument to the Forefathers, Plymouth Rock, and Mayflower II overlooking beautiful Plymouth Harbor. We’ll visit Mayflower Brewery, a local favorite, for beer tasting before departing for Boston.
Check into the hotel with time to freshen up before meeting our Revolutionary War Historian for a historic tavern tour along the Freedom Trail, where we’ll see historic sites related to the American Revolution and sample beer at a couple of the nation’s most historic taverns. Tonight enjoy dinner at one of the cities great restaurants. Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn, Waltham, MA. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Saturday, November 7:Boston Duck Tours, Fenway Park, Brewery Tour & Huzzah!
After breakfast we’ll tour this historic city in a fun and unique way! - Aboard the “DUCK”, a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle for a narrated cruise as we pass by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts. Sights include the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill, Boston Common and Copley Square, Government Center to fashionable Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and so much more! After the cruise you’ll have independent time at Faneuil Hall Marketplace for lunch on our own. Tour “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark” as it is uniquely nestled in the city of Boston. Fenway Park is a place where dreams are made, traditions are celebrated and baseball is forever. Then we’ll tour one of Boston’s famous breweries! Tonight leave your 21st century troubles behind and join the Sons and Daughters of Liberty for the best hospitality in 18th century Boston! We’ll join Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Dorothy Quincy, Paul Revere and other prominent Bostonians for a night of colonial merrymaking, savory colonial dinner, authentic games, boisterous songs and cheerful dance in a spirited colonial tavern atmosphere! Sunday, November 8: Prudential Tower Skywalk & Brewery Tour
After breakfast visit Boston’s World Famous Observatory! – The Prudential Tower Skywalk. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind view of Boston offering a unique way to see the city and many of its landmarks. Visit one of Coastal New England’s popular wineries for a tasting before departing for Central Pennsylvania with appropriate rest and meal stops en route. (Breakfast)

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possible over uneven ground or cobblestoned streets.
A state issued photo I.D. is required (such as a valid driver’s license). Must be 21 years old for wine and beer tastings.
$300 per person deposit due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by September 14, 2020. Solo Travelers Rewards Club maximum voucher redemption: $50
A $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged by Discoveries in addition to any other supplier’s fees. From September 14, 2020 to day of departure no refunds.
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Temperatures for New England in November average in the high 50s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
