Itinerary
Saturday, September 16th: Welcome to St. Louis, MO
Motorcoach from Central PA to a local airport for an early morning flight to St. Louis, Missouri (*if flights are available from Harrisburg International Airport, you will meet the group at the airport.)
Welcome to the beautiful city of St. Louis, home to the Gateway Arch, the world's tallest man-made monument. Your adventure begins immediately upon arrival to St. Louis. The group will be picked up at the airport in a private coach, where you will receive a "See Everything Combo" ticket, which includes the tram ride to the top of the arch, documentary movie, and St. Louis Riverfront Cruise. After touring, head to your hotel to freshen up before a welcome dinner this evening. Hotel: St. Louis Union Station Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, St. Louis, MO (Welcome Dinner)
Sunday, September 17th: Springfield & Litchfield, Illinois
After breakfast, head to Springfield, Illinois to one of the most visited presidential libraries, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, which documents the life of the 16th U.S. president and the course of the American Civil War. Next, travel to the Litchfield Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center where you'll learn about the fascinating history of Litchfield, Route 66 in Illinois, and the impact of the community on the wider world. Make a stop at one of the oldest American restaurants (meal not included in the price of the tour) on the legendary Route 66 Highway, the Ariston Cafe, which was founded by Pete Adam, a Greek immigrant, in Carlinville, Illinois in 1924. Monday, September 18: St. Louis to Springfield, MO
Spend the morning with a Local Expert during a St. Louis city sightseeing tour. Following the city tour, head to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery for a brewery experience! Explore the campus, visit the Clydesdales, and even taste the beer straight from the finishing cellars. You haven't experienced St. Louis until you've experienced an Anheuser-Busch tour! Afterwards, we will depart St. Louis and head for our next stop on the Route 66 tour, Springfield, MO! On the way, we'll make a stop at Meramec Caverns, the largest commercial cave in the state of Missouri. Hotel: Oasis Hotel & Convention Center, Springfield, MO (Breakfast)
Tuesday, September 19: Springfield, MO through Kansas, to Tulsa, OK
Travel through Historic Route 66 today, taking in the sights of some of the longest standing establishments as you go. See places like the Route 66 Car Museum, Kan-O-Tex Service Station, and the Galena Mining & Historical Museum. In Riverton, you'll stop for some snacks at Eislers Brothers Old Riverton Store. Continue past Ed Galloway's Totem Pole Park before making a visit to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. See the famous Blue Whale in Catoosa before arriving in Tulsa, where you'll have the evening at leisure. Hotel: Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center, Tulsa, OK (Breakfast)
Wednesday, September 20: Oklahoma City, OK
This morning we'll depart early and head to Pawhuska, OK where you'll enjoy breakfast (pending availability) at the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, Ree Drummond's beloved restaurant, bakery, and store in the heart of Osage County. Head to Oklahoma City where you'll enjoy a city tour with a Local Expert. Experience history and artistic beauty with a visit to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Its large collection of classic and contemporary Western art, make the museum top-notch. Interactive galleries bring the history of the American cowboy, rodeos, Native American culture, Victorian firearms, and western performers to life. Thursday, September 21: Oklahoma City at Leisure
After breakfast, experience Oklahoma City at your own pace. The entire day is yours to explore the city at leisure. Perhaps, hop aboard one of the city's modern streetcars and explore attractions without wearing your feet out. Or, spend your time at the National Memorial and Museum where you'll walk through the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, passing through the Gates of Time, which marks the formal entrance to the memorial. This evening, join your Travel Director and newfound friends for a Farewell Dinner. (Breakfast, Farewell Dinner)
Friday, September 22nd: Depart for Home
After breakfast, bid a fond farewell to your Route 66 adventure. Board your private coach to the Oklahoma City International Airport for your flight and transportation back to Central PA. (Breakfast)

Travel Documents
U.S. State department and destination specific travel regulations at the time of brochure printing required the following documents for your travel. A valid government issued REAL ID or passport is required. Travel regulations and state compliance requirements are subject to and have been known to change. For the most current requirements, which due to potential changes may be other than this listed here, please consult with your travel agent.
As of the writing of this brochure, all travelers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the final dose having been administered at least 14 days prior to departure to travel with Trafalgar Tours. Additional testing and travel requirements may be required. As travel requirements are rapidly changing due to COVID-19, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure.
Payment
A deposit of $200 per person will confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due to AAA by June 29, 2023.

Flight
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.
Insurance
For your protection AAA Recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures for this region in September average in the high 70s with cooler evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered work best. Comfortable walking shoes and a small umbrella are recommended.
Baggage
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
