7:00AM - Motorcoach will depart Lancaster, AC Moore store at the Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/Route 272 side of the store.
8:00AM - Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Rd, upper lot behind building; travel to New York City with a rest stop en route.
Arrive in New York City at Planet Hollywood Restaurant, a world filled with movie memorabilia from decades of modern classics. Enjoy lunch surrounded by costumes and prop displays from legendary movies. After lunch we’ll meet our guide for a two hour walking tour around Central Park. On the tour we’ll visit locations with photo opportunities from well-known films shot against New York’s most famous backdrop. The tour includes locations such as the ice-skating rink from Love Story and Serendipity. See where Steve Carell and Tina Fey escaped the bad guys in Date Night. Visit the Boathouse Café used in When Harry Met Sally, and feed pigeons where Macaulay Culkin fed them in Home Alone 2.
Next it’s on to see New York City sparkle with the Holiday Lights and Movie Sites tour. We’ll tour iconic landmarks and be guided through some of the city’s hidden gems all from the comfort of our nice warm motorcoach. Visit locations where famous holiday movies were filmed and match them to the movie clips on the screen along the way! Experience Christmas in New York and relive your favorite holiday movie moments. Marvel at the famed tree in Rockefeller Center where Macaulay Culkin reunites with his mom in Home Alone 2. Peek into the brilliant holiday windows at Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor and Macy’s, which you’re sure to remember from Miracle on 34th Street. See the apartment where Buddy the Elf stays with his Dad during his visit in Elf. Witness the electrifying storefront displays as you’re guided down Fifth Avenue. Learn where Bill Murray finds out his taxi driver was the Ghost of Christmas Past in Scrooged and much more. It will be a holiday tour to remember.

This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs, or on uneven walking surfaces, should be expected.
Full payment of $219 per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation.

Temperatures for New York City in December average in the 40s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
