Morning arrival at White Oak Lavender Farm for a guided tour of the farm gardens with information on growing lavender, distilling and cleaning the flower buds along with time to pick some lavender and browse The Lavender Shop. Following the tour you will have a catered lunch and wine tasting at Purple Wolf Vineyards.
Later depart for Middleton, VA via Skyline Drive, an American scenic drive. Built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Skyline Drive winds along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains through Shenandoah National Park. Vistas look out over miles of Virginia’s Piedmont region to the east and the Shenandoah Valley to the west.
Last stop will be at the Belle Grove Plantation for a guided tour of the rich history, Jeffersonian architecture, serene landscape and important collections of the Belle Grove Plantation.

5:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Lancaster, AC Moore store at the Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/Route 272 side of the store.
6:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Rd, upper lot behind building; travel to Virginia with a brief rest stop enroute.
5:00PM: Approximate departure time for Central PA with fast food dinner stop en route
9:00PM: Approximate arrival time back in Harrisburg
10:00PM: Approximate arrival time back in Lancaster
Must be 21 years old with a valid I.D. for wine tasting.
Full payment of $209 per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation. Solo Travelers Rewards Club maximum voucher redemption: $20

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Temperatures for Virginia in June average in the 80s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
