Haines nestles on the shore of America’s longest fjord, with the horizons bounded by the snowy heights of the Coast Ranges. Raft the Chilkat, hike the Takshanuk Mountains, or fish Chilkoot Lake. Inside of town, stop by one of the numerous local art galleries.
Thursday, July 16: Juneau
No roads lead to Juneau, which gives the Alaskan capital a misty inscrutability. You need to come by air or water, but when you arrive, the place will delight you with its bounty of water, forests, and mountains. Squeezed between the Gastineau Channel and Coast Mountains, Juneau offers a lot of variety in close proximity.
Friday, July 17: Ketchikan
Explore this uniquely Alaskan port, famous for its rich native culture, salmon fishing, and scenic Misty Fjords.
Saturday, July 18 – Inside Passage (scenic cruising)
Relax and enjoy a full day of scenic Inside Passage cruising and immerse yourself in Holland America Line elegance.
Sunday, July 19 – Vancouver, British Columbia

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flight schedules may contain code share agreements.
Alaska is not a frigid land of ice and snow! The interior around Fairbanks is warm during the summer. Pack for a variety of temperatures; layers work best. Daytime, casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are fine. For cruising, evenings require casual or semi-formal attire, with two formal nights.
Two suitcases per person will be allowed by the cruise line. You may also bring a small carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or the airport.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
