Wednesday, December 27: Welcome to London!
Begin the day in London, the United Kingdom's dynamic capital. This evening, get a taste of contemporary British fare as you join your fellow travelers for a meal highlighting London’s culinary renaissance. Hotel: Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, London (Dinner)
Thursday, December 28: London
Join a local expert for a morning in London. Begin with a walking tour Westminster, where you will see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Continue to Buckingham Palace, to see the official residence of His Majesty The King. This afternoon is yours to explore on your own. Visit Covent Garden’s elegant boutiques and restaurants at your leisure, returning to the hotel by a cruise on the River Thames. The remainder of the day is yours to do as you wish. (Breakfast)
Friday, December 29: London
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a day to explore at your leisure. You may take an optional excursion to Windsor Castle. Originally built to guard the city of London, Windsor Castle has been the home of kings and queens for nine centuries and is the oldest royal residence still in use today. (Breakfast)
Saturday, December 30: London - Paris
Today you’re off to Paris! Hop aboard the Eurostar High Speed Train to get there in just two hours. A sophisticated metropolis of style and culture, Paris’ bustling city streets are filled with colorful history, fascinating museums, renowned monuments and grand theatres. Upon arrival, join a local expert and take in some of the most iconic sites, including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Place de la Concorde, and the magnificent Place Vendome. Sunday, December 31: Paris New Year's Eve Celebration!
Be romanced by Paris – today is yours for the taking. Should you indulge in some of the world's best shopping on the Champs-Elysees, or simply do as the Parisians do and sit at a sidewalk café and watch the beauty that is Paris go by. Or you may choose an optional guided tour of the famous Louvre Museum,* where you’ll find more than a million precious works of art, including the Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa. Tonight, celebrate the arrival of a New Year as you glide down the enchanted Seine River on a romantic dinner cruise, set against Paris’ glittering skyline. Monday, January 1: Montmartre
Enjoy a leisurely morning before visiting the city’s hilltop arrondissement of Montmartre. Meander through the charming cobblestone streets and take in the iconic Basilica of Sacre-Coeur. The afternoon is yours to explore more of the French capital. Perhaps you’ll stroll along the verdant Canal Saint-Martin or the elegant district of Le Marais, abounding with winding streets and gorgeous old mansions. Or take a walk down to the Ile de la Cité and snap a picture of the awe-inspiring Notre Dame. (Breakfast)
Tuesday, January 2: Paris
It’s your last day in Paris – how will you spend it? You may wander over to the Left Bank of the Seine and plunge into the bohemian atmosphere of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood and the Latin Quarter. Or, join an optional excursion to Louis XIV’s magnificent Palace and Gardens of Versailles* and relive history as you walk through the various rooms of the State Apartments, including the famous Hall of Mirrors. Tonight, enjoy an exclusive dinner at the Eiffel Tower, featuring French cuisine and breathtaking views. End the day with a romantic Seine River cruise set against Paris’ glittering skyline. Wednesday, January 3: Depart for Central PA
Your tour comes to a close, leaving you with many wonderful memories of New Year's spent in Europe!. After breakfast, transfer to the Paris airport for your flight home and transportation back to Central PA.(Breakfast)

Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page for visa stamp(s) is required for this trip.
As of the printing of this brochure all guests are required to obtain an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) travel authorization for travel to Europe's Schengen zone (not included in the price of the trip). Please see your travel professional for additional information.

Payment
A deposit of $698 per person will confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due to AAA by October 13, 2023

Flight
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.
Insurance
For your protection, AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures in London and Paris in December and January average in the low 40s with cooler evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered work best. Comfortable walking shoes and a small umbrella are recommended.
For special evenings, like dinner at the Eiffel Tower and the dinner cruise on New Year's Eve, a more formal or evening chic outfit is appropriate.
Baggage
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing needed assistance.
