Monday, December 28: Depart for Southern California
Board your flight at Harrisburg International Airport and then you’re off to beautiful Southern California. Upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for a five-night stay. After settling in, join your group for a dinner at the hotel. Hotel: Hotel Irvine (Dinner)
Tuesday, December 29: Rose Parade Float Decorating Experience
After breakfast, join in on an exclusive opportunity to help decorate the City of South Pasadena’s Rose Parade Float! It is truly a rewarding experience to watch a float you helped create proudly turn the corner on Colorado Boulevard on New Year’s Day. During your four-hour volunteer shift, you will get a glimpse of the long hours and dedication put into each float and go home with wonderful memories of working with the local community to create a work of art. A boxed lunch is provided. The rest of your day is free at leisure to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities and the area on your own. (If you choose to participate in the float decorating, there will be 4 hours of standing. If you choose not to participate, you can remain at the hotel. In order to provide an accurate count, the decision to participate must be confirmed at time of final payment). (Breakfast, Lunch)
Wednesday, December 30: From Roses to the Sea
After breakfast, visit the Rosemont Pavilion where you can see the finishing touches being put on the parade floats. Then enjoy a wonderful lunch at Lawry’s Prime Rib in Beverly Hills. Next, you will visit Santa Monica Beach before returning to your hotel. This evening is at your leisure with free shuttle service to the Irvine Spectrum. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Thursday, December 31: Hollywood – New Year’s Eve Celebration
After a buffet breakfast, depart for a uniquely Southern California experience as you tour “Tinsel Town”. Spend the morning on the VIP Tram Tour at Warner Brothers Studios. This tour brings you closer than ever to the entertainment you love. You’ll explore one of the busiest working studios in Los Angeles, with one of the expert tour guides who will take you behind the scenes of the studio that has been entertaining the world for over 95 years. Then enjoy a Hollywood Past and Present City Tour where you will see all the iconic landmarks of the movie making capitol of the world. Tonight, join your group for a New Year’s Eve Celebration. This evening is filled with elegant dining and dancing to a live band and the fun of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. There will be hats and party favors as well as a drawing for exciting prizes and a champagne toast to ring in 2021! (Breakfast, Dinner)
Friday, January 1: Rose Parade
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the hotel, then travel to Pasadena and your reserved premium grandstand seating for the 132nd Tournament of Roses Parade. Watch the parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard with your souvenir program and blanket. After the parade, return to the hotel for a special Southern California Backyard BBQ. For the remainder of the afternoon, you will have free time on your own. This evening, there will be special entertainment in the backyard, so bring your own picnic dinner from the marketplace – and don’t forget the wine! (Breakfast, Lunch)
Saturday, January 2: Journey Home
After breakfast, say farewell to new friends as you transfer back to the Los Angeles International Airport for your fight home to Harrisburg, PA. (Breakfast)

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.
Temperatures for Southern California this time of year average in the mid 60s. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
