Thursday, October 22: Arrive in San Diego
Welcome to San Diego! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to get acclimated and have some time to relax. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please. Friday, October 23: San Diego Sightseeing and Free Time
From the Victorian Gas Lamp Quarter to the luxuriant gardens of Balboa Park and its famous botanical gardens, San Diego entices visitors and locals alike with a combination of fascinating history, lively street life, and some of the best weather in the county. Get acquainted with the city on a guided orientation tour. Then, enjoy a tour of the USS Midway and the Maritime Museum. The afternoon is yours to explore the city. Visit the San Diego Zoo or spend the afternoon shopping or on the beach. (Breakfast)
Saturday, October 24: San Diego Sightseeing
Today your Travel Director shows you more of what San Diego has to offer during your time together. See some of San Diego’s many beaches, the gardens of Balboa Park, Old Town, and much more. End the day by exploring “America’s Finest City” on your own terms. (Breakfast)
Sunday, October 25: Temecula Wine Excursion
Spend the day in the lovely town of Temecula, situated among the rolling hills and dotted with vineyards. Your tour Director will take you to visit four local wineries in Temecula Valley for guided tours and wine tastings. In the evening, gather with your fellow travelers to reminisce over the day’s experiences while enjoying your farewell dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Monday, October 26: Depart San Diego
Depart San Diego with sunny memories of one of America’s most beautiful destinations.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.
A government-issued photo ID that is REAL ID compliant, or a valid passport will be required for airport security.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person will confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due to AAA by July 27, 2019.

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights schedules may contain code share agreements.
Average temperatures in San Diego for October range in the mid-70s with nights in the low 60s. Daytime, casual clothes that can be layered and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
