Wednesday, October 23: Travel to Gatlinburg
5:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lancaster, AC Moore store located in Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/Route 272 side of the store.
6:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Rd; travel to Gatlinburg, TN. with appropriate rest and meal stops en route.
This evening check into the hotel with time to freshen up before departing for Anakeesta. Enjoy a scenic ride via the gondola, to the summit of Anakeesta Mountain, where you will enter the magical Firefly Village with majestic views of Mt. LeConte, and downtown Gatlinburg. Enjoy a delightful dinner before returning to downtown. Hotel: Hampton Inn Gatlinburg, TN. (Dinner)
Thursday, October 24: Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen and Junk Drunk Jones
Wake up and depart for Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen to enjoy a delightful breakfast. Following breakfast there will be independent time at The Island in Pigeon Forge, to visit the 4,000 square foot Paula Deen retail store along with 60 other unique shops. Enjoy a tour and tasting at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery ‘The Barn’. En route to Georgia there will be a stop in Chattanooga, Tennessee to have lunch on your own. Then take a trip down memory lane at Junk Drunk Jones where you will see a variety of vintage goods. This evening check into the hotel with time to freshen up before dinner at Waterside Restaurant, at the Evergreen Resort. Hotel: Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Stone Mountain, GA. Friday, October 25: Country Living Fair and Atlanta sightseeing tour
After breakfast the day is yours to enjoy the early bird VIP admission to the Country Living Fair, Georgia, at Stone Mountain Park. There will be great shopping, seminars and demonstrations. Enjoy delicious food and a chance to meet the editors! Late afternoon return to the hotel to freshen up before meeting the local step on guide for a sight-seeing tour of Atlanta. Dinner tonight will be at Mary Mac’s Tea Room, an Atlanta tradition since 1945. Following dinner there will be free time on your own for unique shopping at Ponce City Market. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Saturday, October 26: Country Living Fair and Searching for Scarlett tour
After breakfast the day is yours to enjoy the early bird VIP admission to the Country Living Fair at Stone Mountain. Late afternoon return to the hotel to freshen up before meeting the local guide for a tour titled “Searching for Scarlett”. The tour includes a visit to the Atlanta History Center, the Road to Tara Museum and the Stately Oaks Plantation, a Greek revival antebellum home in the land of “Gone with the Wind”. This evening’s dinner will be a unique dining experience in a one room school house including a storyteller. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Sunday, October 27: Travel to Pigeon Forge, Titanic Museum
After breakfast depart for Pigeon Forge with a brief stop in Chattanooga, Tennessee to have lunch on your own. This afternoon meet the local guide in Sevierville, TN for a stop at the Dolly Parton Statue and wine tasting at the Hillside Winery. Check into the hotel with time to freshen up before dinner at The Pottery House Cafe & Grille, located at Historic Old Mill Village. Following dinner enjoy a self-guided tour of the Titanic Museum. Hotel: The Inn on the River Pigeon Forge, TN. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Monday, October 28: Depart for Central Pennsylvania
After breakfast depart for Central Pennsylvania with appropriate rest and meal stops en route. (Breakfast)

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.
$300 per person deposit due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by September 2, 2019. Solo Travelers Rewards Club maximum voucher redemption: $100
A $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged by Discoveries in addition to any other supplier’s fees. From September 2, 2019 to day of departure no refunds.
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Temperatures in Tennessee & Georgia in October average in the 70s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
