Monday, May 23: Travel to Cape May, NJ, Cape May Brewing Co
8:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Lancaster, from the former AC Moore store located 1515 Lititz Pike at the Lancaster Shopping Center on the Oregon Pike/Route 272 side of the store.
9:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Road, upper lot behind the building; travel to Cape May, NJ with a fast food rest stop en route.
Welcome to America’s original seaside resort with pristine beaches, promenade, and all the amenities that make a seaside town worth visiting along with rich history and architectural diversity. Cape May Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has one of the country’s largest collections of 19th century framed buildings. Enjoy a tasting at Cape May Brewing Company before checking into our charming and casual Victorian beach front hotel for a two-night stay. The evening is yours to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the New Jersey shore from the comfort of your private balcony or patio. Surrounding the hotel are century-old mansions and homes that make Victorian Cape May a National Historic Landmark. The city is filled with shops, restaurants, dinner theaters, museums, and galleries, all within easy walking distance from the hotel. Tuesday, May 24: Emlen Physick Estate, Trolley Tour & Wine Tasting, Dinner Cruise
After breakfast, depart with our local guide as we explore Cape May. We’ll tour the Emlen Physick Estate, the magnificent Stick Style mansion attributed to renowned Victorian architect Frank Furness. The beautifully restored rooms allow you a glimpse into the lifestyle of this Victorian-era Cape May family. Then we’ll enjoy a narrated trolley tour of the Historic District and see the National Landmark District, gingerbread houses, the oldest residential street in town and the elegant Grande dames of the Victorian commercial center. Enjoy independent time for lunch and shopping at The Washington Street Mall. Following lunch, we’ll experience a tasting at one of Cape May’s wineries. This evening enjoy a delightful sunset dinner cruise with beautiful views, and possible dolphin sightings. (Breakfast, Dinner Cruise)
Wednesday, May 25: Skyline Cruise of Atlantic City, depart for Central Pennsylvania
After breakfast, the morning is at your leisure before heading along the shore to Atlantic City for a scenic Skyline Cruise with magnificent views of Atlantic City and the shoreline. Following the cruise enjoy independent time to explore and have lunch on your own before departing for Central Pennsylvania with a rest stop en route. (Breakfast)

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distance, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.
A state issued photo I.D. is required (such as a valid driver’s license). Must be 21 years old for wine and beer tastings.
$300 per person deposit is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by March 31, 2022.
Solo Travelers Rewards Club maximum voucher redemption: $50
A $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged by Discoveries in addition to any other supplier’s fees. From March 31, 2022 to day of departure no refunds.
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Temperatures for New Jersey in May average in the 70s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
