Established originally for its deep-water port, Fells Point quickly became a shipbuilding and commercial center. Within the historic buildings are not only the greatest concentration of pubs and bars in the city, but also some of the city’s best cuisine. Upon arrival we’ll meet our guide for a narrated walking tour throughout the historic neighborhood of Fells Point. Experience and learn about the significance of the small town once separated from Baltimore. The tour will combine its history, architecture and culture along with a multi-course progressive meal served at several critically acclaimed local restaurants. The restaurants are selected to pay homage to the neighborhood’s history through its privateering roots, Eastern European immigrants, and modern influences. Following the tour, you’ll have free time to explore the historic waterfront neighborhood. This area is known for antique and music stores, along with restaurants, coffee bars, and pubs
