Friday, October 29, 2027 - Depart Central, PA for Dublin, Ireland

Transfer by motorcoach from Central PA to a local international airport for an overnight flight* to Dublin, Ireland.

*Group air schedule is in economy class. Seat assignments are controlled by the airline. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Saturday, October 30, 2027 - Welcome to Ireland!

Upon arrive in Dublin, Ireland, you will have a motorcoach transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, the hotel rooms may not be ready yet. Store your luggage and take time to explore the city before settling in at the hotel for the evening. Clayton Hotel

Sunday, October 31, 2027 - Dublin City Tour - Guinness Storehouse - Welcome Drink

After breakfast spend the morning exploring the city or resting at the hotel. In the afternoon set out with a local guide to see Dublin’s many landmarks: the River Liffey, Georgian squares, St Stephen’s Green, and Trinity College. Next, visit the Guinness Storehouse, a spectacular seven-story structure exploring the history and making of Ireland’s most famous brew, and savor a pint in the top-floor Gravity Bar, with its panoramic view of the city. In the evening, meet the group for a welcome drink, and then you are free to explore Dublin’s restaurants and nightlife. (Breakfast) Clayton Hotel

Monday, November 1, 2027 - The Irish Emigration Museum - Explore Dublin

Take a panoramic tour of Dublin with your Tour Director in the morning, then visit EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum to discover the stories of the millions of Irish around the world. You have the afternoon in Dublin to yourself. Maybe you will visit the free National Museums to explore Ireland’s heritage, browse the bookshops, visit art galleries, or shop along Grafton Street. Tuesday, November 2, 2027 - Sean's Bar - Cliffs of Moher - Medieval Banquet

Head to Athlone for a visit to Sean’s Bar – dating back to 900 AD, it’s officially the oldest pub in Europe, and possibly the world! Raise your glass as visitors have for centuries and sip a creamy Irish Coffee. Travel westward toward the Atlantic coast to visit the Cliffs of Moher, towering 700 feet above ocean. Spend your day exploring the spectacular beauty of County Kerry and the highlights of Ireland’s most famous scenic drive, the Ring of Kerry. Traverse wild mountainous terrain, picturesque rural villages, and the rugged coastline. Along the way, stop at Moriarty’s in the Gap of Dunloe, a CIE Tours preferred shopping partner specializing in quality, authentic crafts. Thursday, November 4, 2027 - Blarney Castle - Marine Bar - Waterford

Today, visit Blarney Castle, built six centuries ago by an Irish chieftain. Climb the winding stairs to kiss its famous stone, which legend says will give you the gift of eloquence (or the gift of gab), or stroll the extensive gardens. Next, visit The Marine Bar in Dungarvan for an Irish coffee and some lively traditional music; Liam Clancy of the legendary Clancy Brothers was once a regular at this 300-year-old pub. Finally, it’s on to Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city. Explore this beautiful old port city, settled by the Vikings, before dining with your group at your hotel for dinner. Friday, November 5, 2027 - House of Waterford Crystal - Kilkenny - The Merry Ploughboy

The House of Waterford Crystal is a special experience. See skilled glass cutters create sparkling masterpieces. Visit the small city of Kilkenny for some free time. You might stroll the Medieval Mile, linking the impressive castle built in 1195 with the 13th-century St Canice’s Cathedral. Saturday, November 6, 2027 - Depart Dublin for Central, PA

Today your Irish adventure comes to an end. Take home fond memories and maybe a little “luck of the Irish”. Transfer by motorcoach to the Dublin Airport for a flight and transportation back to Central PA. (Breakfast)

Rates are subject to availability at the time of booking and include taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges, which are subject to change. All pricing and included features are based on a minimum of 25 full-fare passengers.

Final payment is due to AAA by August 11,2027

*Airfare is non-refundable after final payment

Cancellation Penalties:

Prior to August 11, 2027 – $250 per person

August 12 – October 13, 2027 – 30% of total price per person

October 14 – October 21, 2027 – 50% of total price per person

October 22 – October 27, 2027 – 90% of total price per person

After October 27, 2027 – 100% non-refundable

Activity Level:

Moderate: Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. This activity level is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility concerns.

Travel Assistance:

For person comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.

Do I need a Passport?

Yes, an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank Visa page for Visa stamp(s) is required for this trip.  

Do I need travel insurance?

For your protection, AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

How many bags may I bring?

One suitcase per person will be allowed by the tour company. You may also bring a small carry-on and personal item.

What will the weather be like?

Temperatures for Ireland in late October are in the high 40s to mid 50s. Casual clothes that are good for layering and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for rain.
