Transfer by motorcoach from Central PA to a local airport for a flight* to Florida. Upon arrival in Orlando transfer from the hotel for a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay. Puerto Costa Maya is a small region in the state of Quintano Roo, Mexico. It is known for its contrasting ecosystem along with beaches, tropical forests and coral reefs. It welcomes travelers to endless seaside fun in the Yucatan Peninsula. For history enthusiasts visit the Mayan ruins that date back to 360AD. If you prefer, take a day to relax on the beach or shop at the unique small shops in the central plaza.

All non-members must add $60 to the above rates. Rates are subject to availability at time of booking and include taxes, fees and fuel surcharges which are subject to change. All pricing and included features are based on a minimum of 35 full fare passengers. The rates listed above include the following which are subject to change: Required Cruise Fees and Expenses of $280; Double Occupancy Per Person ($560 single occupancy) Government Taxes and Fees – $160.49

Desired pick-up location is not guaranteed until passenger minimums are met.

Payment Schedule:

Deposit of $250 per person/$500 per cabin will confirm your reservation.  Final payment is due to AAA by April 6, 2026.

Cancellation/Penalties:

From April 21 – May 5, 2026:  25% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees

From May 6 – 19, 2026:  50% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees

From May 20 – June 18, 2026:  75% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees

After June 18, 2026:  NON-REFUNDABLE

*Airfare is non-refundable after final payment

Activity Level:

Comfortable- This trip may include walking tours of up to two hours in length typically on level terrains. May include early morning departures or late-night returns. Climbing multiple flights of stairs, standing for short periods of time, along with moderate altitudes may be necessary.

Clothing/Climate:

Average temperatures in the Caribbean in July are in the upper 80s with cooler mornings and evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures; layers are suggested. Daytime, casual clothes that are designed for warmer climates and breezy higher temperatures, as well as comfortable walking shoes are recommended. For cruising, evenings require casual or semi-formal attire, with two formal nights.

Travel Assistance:

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.

What is a Discoveries Journey Manager?

Do I need a passport?

Yes, an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank Visa page for Visa stamp(s) is required for this trip.

How many bags can I bring?

One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under the seat in front of you on the airplane. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges will be directly assessed by the airlines or the airport.

Do I need travel insurance?

For your protection AAA highly recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage only if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit. Other conditions may apply; ask your Travel Advisor. AAA recommends Allianz Insurance.

Where will my seat be on the plane?
