Depart by motorcoach from Central PA to the Bronx Zoo in New York.

**Early morning departure, time will be confirmed closer to travel.

Welcome to the Bronx Zoo, the world’s largest urban Zoo in America. The day will be on your own to explore 265 acres at your own pace. Meet exotic animals, birds, reptiles, and insects from across Asia, Africa, the Americas and more. The animals and exhibits at the Bronx Zoo span the globe and include tiny toads from Tanzania and big cats from the Russian Far East. With more than 700 animal species, the zoo is the perfect place to inspire animal lovers of all ages. Stroll along at your leisure, and enjoy lunch at one of the food stands or cafés. Take a ride on the monorail that takes you to the heart of Asian wilderness where you may see red pandas, elephants, and rhinos.

Payment

Full payment per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation.

$199.00 per person

Rates are subject to availability at time of booking and include taxes, fees and fuel surcharges which are subject to change. All pricing and included features are based on a minimum of 35 full fare passengers. Desired pick up location is not guaranteed until passenger minimums are met.

Cancellation/Penalties

After May 23, 2026 – No refunds.

Activity Level 3

Moderate- Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. This activity level is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility concerns.

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.

What will the weather be like?

Temperatures for New York in August average in the 80s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
