Thursday, January 28, 2027 - Departure

Transfer by motorcoach to a local international airport for a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii. The group air schedule will be shared once available.

Friday, January 29, 2027 - Honolulu

This morning, take a city tour of Honolulu. Then, remember Pearl Harbor with a visit to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial as well as a a trip on the naval launch to view the USS Arizona Memorial*. Hotel: Prince Waikiki (Breakfast, Dinner)

*Wind conditions at Pearl Harbor may result in a boat tour that does not include stopping at the USS Arizona Memorial

Saturday, January 30, 2027 - Waikiki

Begin the day with a visit to the Iolani Palace to learn about the Hawaiian monarchs and the takeover of Hawaii by the United States. Enjoy free time for lunch before heading to the Pali lookout for a stunning view of Oahu’s rainforest. (Breakfast)

Sunday, January 31, 2027 - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Board a flight to the “Big Island” of Hawaii. Take a moment to see Rainbow Falls before enjoying some free time to explore Hilo and have lunch. Then, go on a tour of the South Coast, including a visit to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to learn about Kilauea! Hotel: Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa (Breakfast)

Monday, February 1, 2027 - Kona

Relax at your resort this morning before traveling to Kailua-Kona, a town established by King Kamehameha before he unified the Kingdom of Hawaii. this afternoon, try your hand at lei making in a class taught by a local expert. This evening, enjoy a Hawaiian-style dinner at a traditional Polynesian luau featuring endless tropical drinks! (Breakfast, Dinner)

Tuesday, February 2, 2027 - Honaunau Bay

Tour Bay View Farm, a locally operated coffee bean farm, and enjoy a taste of the Kona coffee. Then, visit St. Benedict’s Painted church and admire the vibrant frescos. Afterwards, continue to Pu’uhonua o Hanaunau National Historic Park*, which was once a place of refuge for that broke the sacred law in old Hawaii. (Breakfast, Dinner)

*The National Historic Park is subject to weather conditions, in rare circumstances where the surf is high, the authorities may close the beach. 

Wednesday, February 3, 2027 - Maui

Today, fly to Maui! Visit the stunning Iao Valley where you can view the Iao Needle, a natural landform in Maui. Then, you’ll check into your deluxe hotel. Hotel: Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa (Breakfast, Dinner)

Thursday, February 4, 2027 - Maui

Today is yours to explore, relax, and experience all that Maui has to offer! You may choose to take an optional full day cliff-side drive on the legendary Road to Hana. (Breakfast)

Single occupancy accommodations are extremely limited and not guaranteed until space is confirmed.

Book by July 28, 2026 to secure your space. Reservations made after this date are subject to availability and rates are subject to potential increase. Rates are subject to availability at time of booking and include taxes, fees and fuel surcharges, which are subject to change. All pricing and included features are based on a minimum of 25 passengers. Desired pick-up location is not guaranteed until passenger minimums are met.

A deposit of $698 per person will confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by  October 16, 2026.

October 30, 2026 to January 12, 2027             40% of total price per person

January 13, 2027 to January 27, 2027              75% of total price per person

After January 27, 2027                                      100% of total price per person

Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. What is a Discoveries Journey Manager?

What type of identification do I need?

A valid government issued REAL ID or passport is required for airport security. Travel regulations and state compliance requirements are subject to and have been known to change. How many bags can I bring?

Due to limited space while touring, all passengers are limited to one checked bag no more than 50lbs. You may also bring a small carryon bag small enough to fit under your seat. Soft sided carryon bags no larger than 17″x14″x4″ with a zippered enclosure are recommended. Wheeled carry-on cases that are used as carry-on luggage on airlines are too large and are not suitable as hand-carried luggage. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by the airlines or airport.

Do I need travel insurance?

For your protection AAA highly recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage only if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit. Other conditions may apply; ask your Travel Advisor. AAA recommends Allianz Insurance.
