Your journey begins with a motorcoach transfer from Central Penn to a local international airport and overnight flight* to London, England.

This morning you’ll join a local tour guide for an exploration of London, taking in some historic landmarks like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. The afternoon is your time to explore as you like whether it be shopping on Carnaby Street, taking in the local museums, or strolling along the Thames Riverfront. Sunday, May 3, 2026: London, England - Brussels, Belgium - Amsterdam, Netherlands

This morning you’ll meet your travel director before being whisked away to London’s St. Pancras International to board the Eurostar and head to Brussels, Belgium. From there you’ll board a luxury motorcoach to drive to Amsterdam, Netherlands, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way, perhaps even seeing some of the iconic tulip fields. Once there, your tour director will give you an orientation of the city and you’ll embark on a relaxing dinner cruise along the famous canals. Hotel: Mercure Amsterdam City (Breakfast, Dinner)

Monday, May 4, 2026: Amsterdam, Netherlands - Rhine Cruise to Heidelberg, Germany

After breakfast you’ll depart Amsterdam on a drive through the lovely countryside on your way to Boppard, Germany where you’ll board a cruise along the Rhine River. Watch along the riverbanks for vineyards and famous medieval castles on your way to Heidelberg, Germany, a city famous for its Baroque architecture. We’ll explore the city a bit before nestling into our hotel for the evening. Hotel: Hotel Sinsheim (Breakfast, Dinner)

Tuesday, May 5, 2026: Heidelberg, Germany - Munich, Germany - Innsbruck, Austria

This morning you’ll say goodbye to the Rhineland as we travel through the Swabian Alps to Innsbruck, Austria. Once there we’ll take in the stunning Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance architecture that makes Innsbruck the capital of the Alps. You’ll have a chance to explore the city and see Emperor Maximillian’s famous golden roof. In the evening enjoy some classic Tyrolean entertainment. Hotel: Tivoli Hotel Innsbruck (Breakfast)

Wednesday, May 6, 2026: Innsbruck, Austria - Venice, Italy

As we leave the breathtaking beauty of the Alps we’ll journey to the stunning and unique city of Venice, Italy, and its seemingly endless canals. You’ll cruise the beautiful Venetian Lagoon by private launch and view the ornate Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs. You’ll be able to watch the famous Venetian glass blowing as they create amazing works of art before taking the rest of the day to explore this stunning city at your leisure. Friday, May 8, 2026: Rome, Italy - Vatican City, Italy

Today you’ll get an opportunity to experience the inspiring and divine Vatican City with a local guide, as they take you through the history of the seat of the Catholic religion. Today you’ll have the chance to take an optional excursion to see the historic painted ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Later in the day we’ll explore the exterior of the famous Colosseum and Circus Maximus where the chariot races took place. The afternoon is yours to explore the city at your own pace. (Breakfast)

Today you’ll journey through the Tuscan countryside as we depart Rome and head to Florence, Italy, known as the “Cradle of the Renaissance”. Sunday, May 10, 2026: Florence, Italy - Lucerne, Switzerland

Today we travel into the Italian and Swiss Alps as we leave Florence for Lucerne, Switzerland. Soak in the natural beauty among the towering mountains of the Swiss Alps, the Swiss culture, and hospitality. Hotel: Grand Hotel Europe Lucerne (Breakfast)

Today you can explore Lucerne at your own pace, whether that be walking through the charming city streets or taking part in an optional excursion to one of the mountainous peaks for some breathtaking views of the Swiss countryside. Tuesday, May 12, 2026: Lucerne, Switzerland - Paris, France

The last leg of our amazing journey takes us across the border into the French countryside where you’ll be able to see vineyards as far as the eye can see, and we’ll pass through some charming country towns of Burgundy on our way to Paris the “City of Light”. Once there take some time to stroll through the Paris streets to find a charming Bistro with some fine cuisine or consider an optional excursion to a Parisian Cabaret. Wednesday, May 13, 2026: Paris, France

Today you’ll join a local guide on a tour of this magnificent city taking in the sights of Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, and famed Notre Dame cathedral. Afterwards stroll through the Latin Quarter for some shopping and later in the evening join your fellow travelers and tour director for a farewell dinner at a local bistro. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Thursday, May 14, 2026: Paris, France - End of Tour

Today marks the end of this truly memorable journey through Europe as we head to Charles De Gaulle International Airport for a flight* back to Central PA. (Breakfast)

Payment:

Double Rate Per Person: $7,849

Single Rate Per Person: $9,049

Triple Rate Per Person: $7,829

All non-members must add $60 to the above rates. Rates are subject to to availability at time of booking and include taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges which are subject to change. All pricing and included features are based on a minimum of 25 passengers. Single and triple occupancy accommodations are extremely limited and are not guaranteed until space is confirmed. Book by October 29, 2025 to secure your space. Reservations made after this date are subject to availability and rates are subject to potential increases. Desired pickup location not guaranteed until passenger minimums are met.

Payment Schedule:

A deposit of $200 per person will confirm your reservation.  Final payment is due to AAA by February 13, 2026.

Cancellation Penalties:

Deposit date to date of departure – $25 per person plus…

From August 2, 2025 to February 27, 2026 – $200 deposit, plus any additional supplier’s fees

From February 28, 2026 to March 31, 2026 – 50% paid per person, plus any additional supplier’s fees

From April 1, 2026 to April 28, 2026 – 80% paid per person, plus any additional supplier’s fees

After April 28, 2026 – Non-Refundable

Flight:

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator.  Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure.  Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed.  Some flights may contain code share agreements.

Clothing/Climate:

During May, temperatures in Europe averages around 59-65 degrees with cooler temperatures at higher altitudes. You’ll want casual clothing with a jacket for cooler temperatures and evenings. Comfortable walking shoes or boots are recommended.

Activity Level:

Comfortable: This trip may include walking tours of up to two hours in length typically on level terrains.  May include early morning departures or late-night returns.  Climbing multiple flights of stairs, standing for short periods of time, along with moderate altitudes may be necessary.

Travel Assistance:

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.

What is a Discoveries Journey Manager?

Do I need a passport?

Yes, an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank Visa page for Visa stamp(s) is required for this trip.

How many bags can I bring?

One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under the seat in front of you on the airplane. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges will be directly assessed by the airlines or the airport.

Do I need travel insurance?

For your protection AAA highly recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage only if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit. Other conditions may apply; ask your Travel Advisor. AAA recommends Allianz Insurance.

Where will my seat be on the plane?
