AAA Central Penn was proud to recently present a donation to Sherri Bickert and the team at the Lumina Center in Lewistown, an organization that has long stood as a beacon of hope for local youth and families. The Lumina Center has generously partnered with AAA to provide office space for meeting with members in the Mifflin County area—an act of collaboration that strengthens our shared commitment to community service.

Unfortunately, the Lumina Center is now facing significant challenges after burst pipes caused major damage to its two historic buildings, which are 74 and 107 years old. Despite these setbacks, their mission remains unwavering.
For more than three decades, the Lumina Center has embodied community spirit, hope, and second chances for youth. Serving hundreds of at‑risk children, teens, and families each year, it has become a lifeline—an after‑school gathering place, a mentoring home base, a refuge in times of crisis, and a steady, uplifting presence for young people who often feel they have nowhere else to go.
AAA Central Penn is grateful for the opportunity to support such an essential organization and remains committed to standing alongside our partners in Mifflin and Huntingdon Counties.
