AAA Central Penn has welcomed Shaun Balani, Tracy Grajewski, Shanice Mariluz and Velma Redmond to its board of directors.
“Shaun, Tracy, Shanice and Velma are tremendous additions to our board of directors,” said AAA Central Penn President Jodie Daubert. “We are honored to have such knowledgeable, experienced and passionate individuals join the board and look forward to utilizing their expertise to help better serve our members.”
Balani, now retired, was CEO and majority shareholder of Travel Time Travel Agency, Inc. for 32 years. He most recently served as a Vistage Chair, helping a community of CEOs of small to mid-size companies network and grow their businesses.
“My biggest passion in life is travel,” said Balani. “I’m eager to serve on AAA Central Penn’s board of directors and continue to contribute to the travel industry in another capacity.”
Grajewski is an assistant professor in the Accounting, Business and Economics Department at Juniata College, where she has taught since 2019. She previously served as vice president for administration and chief human resources officer for the college, spearheading transformational efforts in the areas of compensation, health benefits, retirement, recruiting, and leadership and team development. She also co-led the development of the college’s strategic plan and the campus master planning process.
“My true passions are teaching, talent and leadership development, and assisting organizations through growth and transition,” said Grajewski. “I am thrilled to join AAA Central Penn’s board of directors to contribute to its growth and evolution in the safe mobility space.”
Mariluz is the vice president of enterprise portfolio management with Members 1st Federal Credit Union where she has worked since 2011. With over 20 years of financial operations and technology experience, she manages the organization’s portfolio of change initiatives, leads a team of project management professionals and has held various roles in the finance industry.
“I pride myself on leading cross-organizational change and improvements,” said Mariluz. “In joining AAA Central Penn’s board of directors, I am excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the organization’s growth and continued development.”
Redmond, now retired, was vice president, general counsel and secretary of Pennsylvania American Water, and regional general counsel of American Water, the largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company in the United States. She also held positions as chief counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of State, chief counsel to the Pennsylvania Independent Regulatory Review Commission, assistant counsel for the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and assistant attorney general.
“I have served on the boards of a variety of professional, civic and educational organizations over the years,” said Redmond. “I am excited to begin my term with the board of directors of AAA Central Penn. It is an honor to be appointed to the board of an organization with such strong roots in Central Pennsylvania.”
