Transfer by motorcoach from Central PA to a local international airport for an overnight flight to Munich, Germany.
Sunday, October 19, 2025 - Arrive in Munich
Welcome to Germany! The sophisticated city streets of Munich are your launch pad to an adventure through Bavaria. Transfer from the airport to the hotel and enjoy an orientation tour with fellow travelers and your Travel Director. Spend some free time immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the Bavarian capital before a Welcome Dinner this evening at a local restaurant. Monday, October 20, 2025 - Old Town Munich
Immerse yourself in the splendor of Munich on a guided tour of Old Town with a Local Specialist. View the Marienplatz, the center of Munich city life since the 12th century, and its iconic Glockenspiel. The 13th Century St. Peter’s church, the Viktualien food market square, and a beerhall are only a short walk away. Cap off the day with a visit to the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum and Theresienwiese, home of Oktoberfest! (Breakfast)
Tuesday, October 21, 2025 - Monastic Breweries
Today, travel to Kelheim to the Weltenburg Abbey Brewery. Learn about what is considered by some as the oldest monastic brewery in the world, having been in operation since 1050. While there enjoy a taste of their delicious brew. Then head to the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan, the oldest still existing brewery in the world which stands upon the Weihenstephan hill. Enjoy an exciting journey through time to the origin of beer before enjoying a taste for yourself. (Breakfast)
Wednesday, October 22, 2025 - Munich Residenz - Gewerbering
Start the day with a guided visit of Munich Residenz, Germany's largest city palace. A royal palace from 1508 to 1918, it’s the largest city palace in the country, filled with extravagant (and sometimes hidden) rooms, crowns and jewels, piles of wealth, and centuries of scandals, stories, and secrets. Then head to the small village of Gewerbering to visit Camba Bavaria - brewery, brewery shop, bakery, beer garden, bar and home of the Camba beer specialties in the heart of the Chiemgau. Enjoy a tour and of course a tasting of various beers and delicacies. (Breakfast)
Thursday, October 23, 2025 - Neuschwanstein Castle
Travel through the beautiful countryside to a land of fables and folklore. This morning, we tread in the footsteps of shy King Ludwig II and visit his Neuschwanstein Castle with an inhouse guide (subject to availability), built as a retreat for the king to withdraw from public life. On the other side of the Ammergebirge Mountains is Klosterbrauerei Ettal in the mountain town of Ettal. This Benedictine Abbey on the edge of the Ammergebirge Mountains near Garmisch-Partenkirchen was donated to Bavaria by Emperor Ludwig in 1330 and has been brewing beer for more than 400 years. Enjoy a tour and tasting here (subject to availability). Return to Munich for the rest of the day free to explore on your own. (Breakfast)
Friday, October 24, 2025 - BMW Museum
Take the opportunity to travel through time and experience the fascinating world of BMW, with a history spanning nine decades. See some of the most famous and valuable automobiles, motorcycles, and engines during a tour of the museum. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore or buy some last-minute souvenirs before a Farewell Dinner at the Hofbrauhaus (subject to availability). (Breakfast, Farewell Dinner)
Saturday, October 25, 2025 - Travel Home to Central, PA
It's time to say a fond auf Wiedersehen to Germany, as your German experience has come to an end. Transfer to the Munich airport for your flight and transportation back to Central, PA. (Breakfast)

As of the printing of this brochure all guests are required to obtain an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) travel authorization for travel to Europe’s Schengen zone (not included in the price of the trip). Payment
A deposit of $200 per person will confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due to AAA by August 1, 2025.

Flight
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator, seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed; seats are assigned at the discretion of the airline at airport check-in only. Some flight schedules may contain code share agreements.
Insurance
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures for Germany in October average in the low to mid 60s with cooler mornings and evenings. Casual clothing, comfortable walking shoes and a small umbrella are recommended.
Baggage
Due to limited space while touring, all passengers are limited to one checked bag no more than 50lbs. You may also bring a small carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Soft sided carry-on bags no larger than 17"x14"x4" with a zippered enclosure are recommended. Wheeled carry-on cases that are used as carry-on luggage on airlines are too large and are not suitable as hand-carried luggage. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by the airlines or airport.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
