Itinerary
Sunday, September 20th, 2026: Depart Central Penn for Salt Lake City, Utah
Transfer from Central PA to a local airport for your flight to Salt Lake City, Utah. Upon arrival at Salt Lake City Airport, if time allows you will be able to enjoy a small tour of Salt Lake City, before you will be transferred to the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel. After checking into the hotel, you'll join your group for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. The rest of the evening is yours to explore at your leisure. Monday, September 21st, 2026: Salt Lake City, Utah - Grand Teton, Wyoming
This morning you'll meet your tour director and after breakfast you'll board your motorcoach to depart for Jackson, Wyoming. Soak in the natural splendor of Northern Utah and learn about its unique geology and history as we journey to Jackson Hole Valley. A lunch stop will be included along the way, and later in the afternoon we'll arrive at Grand Teton National Park for a tour with stunning views of this impressive mountain range. Afterwards we'll arrive at the hotel to check-in and we'll gather for dinner at a local favorite restaurant. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Hotel: Elk Country Inn
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026: Snake River, Wyoming - Grand Teton, Wyoming
After breakfast we'll return to Grand Teton National Park and take a float trip down Snake River where you can soak in the surrounding wild frontier. You'll be able to enjoy an included lunch with your group, then take in some wildlife and photography opportunities as we tour the park including Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake, and Coulter Bay. This will be an afternoon of exploring, sightseeing, and wildlife watching before we return to Jackson. The evening is yours to explore at your leisure. (Breakfast, Lunch) Hotel: Elk Country Inn
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026: Grand Teton, Wyoming - Yellowstone, Wyoming
Today you'll head north through Grand Teton with stunning scenic picture stops along the way. Then it's on to Yellowstone National Park, the oldest National Park in the country, where we'll explore the West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Lake, and Hayden Valley. Lunch with the group is included today before we head to the Norris Geyser Basin for hiking and exploring. Later we'll travel through the Madison River valley to West Yellowstone. Thursday, September 24th, 2026: Yellowstone, Wyoming
Enjoy breakfast today before we head up and over Dunraven Pass to experience the highest point in Yellowstone Park. The morning will be filled with wildlife watching and hiking opportunities in the Tower-Roosevelt areas before enjoying a picnic style lunch at a scenic location and exploring the Mammoth Hot Springs. The afternoon will be more wildlife and photo stops. The evening in West Yellowstone will once again be yours to explore at your leisure. (Breakfast, Lunch) Hotel: Kelly Inn West Yellowstone
Friday, September 25th, 2026: Yellowstone, Wyoming
Today breakfast will again be included before we explore the unique and inspiring geothermal areas of Yellowstone National Park. We'll travel along the Firehole River and visit Fountain Paint Pots, before we get to the famous attraction of Yellowstone at Old Faithful Geyser! This geyser goes off like clockwork shooting steaming hot water nearly 200 feet into the air! In the afternoon we'll stop at Black Sand Basin, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Firehole Geyser Basin to explore. There will be plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. Saturday, September 26th, 2026: Yellowstone, Wyoming - Salt Lake City, Utah
After breakfast today we'll explore just outside of Yellowstone National Park with stops at Big Springs and Mesa Falls before we travel through the potato fields of Southern Idaho with a stop for an included lunch. After lunch, we'll head to Antelope Island State Park for sightseeing of the Great Salt Lake before continuing on to Salt Lake City, Utah for the final night of our grand adventure. You'll join the group for a farewell dinner and share the stories and experiences of this tour with one another. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Hotel: Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel
Sunday, September 27th, 2026: Salt Lake City, Utah - Central Penn
After breakfast you'll check out of the hotel and board a transfer to the Salt Lake City airport for your flight back to Central Pennsylvania. (Breakfast)

Tour Activity Level: 3
Moderate- Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. This activity level is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility concerns.

Payment
A deposit of $250 per person will confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due to AAA by July 6, 2026.
Cancellation/Penalties
After July 6, 2026 - NON-REFUNDABLE
Insurance
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Flight
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks during late September can be cool, ranging from highs in the 60's to lows in the 30's. Pack for variable temperatures and be prepared for cooler temperatures as the region transitions to fall and winter, layers and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Baggage
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
