Sunday, March 15: Depart Central PA
Transfer by motorcoach from Central PA to a local international airport for an overnight flight* to Dublin, Ireland.

Monday, March 16: Depart Central PA, Arrive in Dublin
Welcome to Ireland! After meeting your Travel Director at the airport, visit Trinity College Dublin and the Book of Kells. This experience offers a captivating glimpse into Ireland’s rich literary and cultural heritage. Established in 1592, Trinity College is renowned for its stunning architecture and prestigious academic history. The highlight of your visit will be the Book of Kells, a beautifully illuminated manuscript created by Celtic monks around 800 AD. As you explore the Old Library, home to this masterpiece, you’ll be awed by its intricate illustrations and vibrant colors that showcase the artistry of the time. Tuesday, March 17: Guinness Store House & St Patrick's Day Parade
After breakfast at your hotel, journey to the Guinness Store House. Around the world, Ireland is known for Guinness its famous dry stout. Saturday, March 21: Cliffs of Moher
A natural masterpiece, and one of the most beautiful places in the world, the Cliffs of Moher are a must-see for any trip to Ireland. Set against the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs tower a striking distance above the sea. Named a UNESCO Global Geopark, the Cliffs are best experienced on a walk or trek across the clifftop. Watch birds, study plants, and keep an eye on the water for breaks of dolphin pods or sharks. Sunday, March 22: Clonmacnoise & Sean's Bar
On the banks of the River Shannon near Athlone in County Offaly, the ruins of Clonmacnoise reveal a once-thriving monastic site founded by St. Ciarán in the 6th century. The site features a cathedral, two round towers, high crosses, churches, and Europe’s largest collection of early Christian grave slabs. Clonmacnoise is the burial place of many high kings, including Rory O’Connor, the last high king of Ireland. The site inspired some of Ireland’s greatest literature, including works by Seamus Heaney. Tuesday, March 24: Giants Causeway - Titanic Belfast Museum

Flight
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.
Insurance
For your protection, AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures for Ireland in mid March range in the low 50's with cooler nights in the 30s. Casual clothes that can be layered work best. Comfortable, waterproof walking shoes are a must and a small umbrella is recommended. Be prepared for areas of high wind including the Cliffs of Moher.
Baggage
One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by airlines or airport.

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing needed assistance.
