Located at the tip of Bermuda's West End, Royal Naval Dockyard is home to exceptional shopping and pristine beaches. The beautifully restored Royal Navy Dockyards provide quaint boutique, a crafts market and fascinating maritime museum. Don't miss the chance to try out one of the many water sports offered in and around this gorgeous harbor.

Things to Do:

  • Enjoy a cruise on one of Bermuda’s glass-bottom boats to view a world of fish and coral formations.
  • Browse the shops and museums of the Royal Naval Dockyard.
  • Walk the cobblestone streets of St. George, the oldest inhabited town of English origin.
  • Visit Hamilton, have lunch and enjoy the day shopping.

Comfortable- This trip may include walking tours of up to two hours in length typically on level terrains. May include early morning departures or late-night returns. Climbing multiple flights of stairs, standing for short periods of time, along with moderate altitudes may be necessary.

General Information

Travel Documents

U.S. citizens on homeport cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same U.S. port) are currently able to enter or depart the country with a state issued birth certificate with a raised seal and government-issued photo ID. AAA recommends traveling with an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page for visa stamp(s).

As travel policies are rapidly changing, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Please see your Travel Advisor for additional information.

Payment

Deposit of $100 per person/$200 per cabin will confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by:  April 15, 2025

Cancellation Penalties

Deposit date to day of departure - $25 per person, plus…
From April 30 - May 28, 2025 - 25% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees
From May 29 - June 27, 2025 - 50% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees
From June 28 - July 27, 2025 - 75% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees
After July 27, 2025 - NON-REFUNDABLE

INSURANCE

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 day of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz Insurance.

CLOTHING/CLIMATE

Average temperatures in Bermuda in August is in the 80's. Daytime, casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Smart Casual clothing is recommended for evening attire. 

BAGGAGE

Two suitcases per person will be allowed by the cruise line. You may also bring a small carry-on bag.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
