August 8, 2025: Overnight flight to Brussels, Belgium

Transfer by motorcoach from Central PA to a local international airport for an overnight flight to Brussels, Belgium. 

August 9, 2025: Arrive in Brussels

Welcome to Belgium! Spend the morning getting acquainted with the city on your own. Later, meet your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a delightful Welcome Dinner. Hotel: Martin's Hotel (Dinner)

August 10, 2025: Brussels 

Today, your Travel Director will take you on an orientation tour of Brussels. Discover the Atomium, designed for the 1958 Brussel's World fair, Mannekin Pis and the exquisite Grand Place. Following the tour, you'll have the opportunity to discover the capital as you wish. Stroll past the Royal Palace and through the leafy lanes of Brussels Park, or indulge in tasting delicious chocolate. The travel director will help guide and provide suggestions to make most of the day at leisure. (Breakfast)

August 11, 2025: Ghent and Bruges 

Travel into centuries of trade heritage in the medieval port city of Ghent.  Capture the picturesque riverine backdrop with the three famous towers-  St Nicholas Church, the Beflry and St. Bavo's Cathedral before continuing on to Burges. Hotel:  Hotel De Medici, Burges (Breakfast)

August 12, 2025: Bruges Dive Into Culture & Connect with Locals

Today you'll wake up in beautiful Bruges and join a Local Specialist for a walking tour of the town. Cruise along the city's wonderful canals lined with gothic facades. Dive Into Culture and admire the delicate art of Belgian lace. You'll have time at leisure before joining the rest of the group for a 3-course meal at your hotel. Hotel De' Medici, Bruges (Breakfast, Dinner)

August 13, 2025: Luxembourg

En-route to the Duchy of Luxembourg, we stop in Dinant whose famous son, Adolphe Sax, is credited with having invented the saxophone. Visit the 12th-centrury Cistercian Orval Abbey, renowned for being one of the few breweries that produce Trappist beer. Get a taste of their sustainable Trappist beer, a  Make Travel Matter Experience. Tonight we wine and dine at our hotel. Hotel: Parc Hotel Alvisse, Luxembourg (Breakfast, Dinner)

August 14, 2025: Luxembourg City

This morning, we pay tribute to Allied Forces hero, General George S. Patton, whose final resting place is the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial. Later, we embark on a leisurely walking tour of Luxembourg City with a Local Specialist. Our route takes us past the Cathedral and the Grand Ducal Palace, with its Flemish Renaissance facades , and include spectacular views of the gorge of the rivers Alzette and Petrusse. Spend the rest of the day at leisure soaking up the quaint atmosphere of this tiny country  or indulge in a coffee while you people-watch in the leafy Place d'Armes- the choice is yours! (Breakfast)

August 15, 2025: Bastogne, Masstricht and Amsterdam 

Continue on to Bastogne, the site of bloody skirmishes in the World War II Battle of the Bulge. Next the fortified city of Maastricht take center stage as we spend time strolling through its town centre before journeying to the magical city of Amsterdam, where we will cruise the city's famous waterway admiring the picture perfect surrounds and gabled facades. Hotel: Apollo Hotel Amsterdam a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. (Breakfast)

August 16, 2025: Amsterdam 

Explore Amsterdam's historic city centre this morning. Dive Into Culture as you join a small group sightseeing tour of the Rijksmuseum with a local specialist.  Come face to face with the masterpieces of Rembrandt’s 'The Night Watch', Van Gogh’s self-portrait, and 'The Milkmaid' by Vermeer. (Breakfast)

August 17, 2025: Delft and Rotterdam 

Soak up the Dutch atmosphere before heading to Delft via The Hague. We Dive Into Culture during a visit  to the Royal Delft Pottery workshop and admire the delicate blue and white porcelain that made the town famous. We continue our journey to Rotterdam for an orientation tour.  We will travel back to Amsterdam for a  Be My Guest  Farewell Dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)

August 18, 2025: Depart for Central PA

After breakfast transfer to the airport for a flight and transportation back to Central, PA. (Breakfast)

Travel Documents

Original signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay with at least one black Visa page for Visa stamp(s) is required for this year. As the printing of this brochure, all guest are required to obtain an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System travel authorization for travel to Europe's Schengen zone (not included in the price of the trip). Please see your travel advisor for additional information. 

As travel policies are rapidly changing as a result of COVID-19, the final requirements will be communicated prior to travel. Please see your travel advisor additional information.

Payment

A deposit of  $200  per person will confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due to AAA by:  May 23, 2025

Cancellation Penalties 

Deposit date to day of departure $25 per person, plus.

From December 1, 2024 to May 23, 205- $200 per person, plus any additional supplier's fees
From May 24, 2025 to July 23, 2025- 30% per person, plus any additional supplier's fees
From July 24, 2025 to July 31, 2025- 50% per person, plus any additional supplier's fees
From August 1, 2025 to August 7, 2025- 90% per person, plus any additional supplier's fees
After August 7, 2025- NON-REFUNDABLE

Flight

Air arrangements are handled by tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.

Insurance

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical condition may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz. 

Clothing/Climate 

August temperatures for  Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam during the day  average in 70's with the cooler evening in the mid 50's. Causal clothes that can be layered work best. Comfortable walking sure are recommended. 

Baggage

One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assess by the airlines or airport.

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing needed assistance .
