Itinerary
5:00AM - Motorcoach will depart from Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lititz.
6:00AM - Motorcoach will depart from AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Rd, Harrisburg for New Jersey.
**Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed closer to date of travel.
Morning arrival in New Jersey at the United Railroad Historical Society. Here we'll have a two-hour guided tour of the Boonton Yard restoration facility to include an in-depth look at all the restored equipment on display at Boonton, the shop where multiple restoration projects will be in progress, and the rarely seen west end of the yard. This afternoon enjoy a catered lunch inside the yard with a view of the collection. Following lunch depart for Flemington, New Jersey to board the Black River and Western Railroad for an hour-long excursion. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner at the Clinton Station Diner in a restored 1927 train car, before departing for Central Pennsylvania.
**Please note the ability to climb and descend several stairs is required to board the train and to explore the museums included on this itinerary. Participants need to be able to comfortably walk longer distances, and stand for extended periods of time.

This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs, or on uneven walking surfaces, should be expected.
General Information
This Ramble is subject to cancellation due to insufficient and/or late registration. Please contact the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania or go online at www.rrmuseumpa.org for membership options. Included in these rates is $20.00, which is a contribution to the nonprofit Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. This amount is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. (Contribution may be less if the minimum number of passengers is not achieved.) The $20.00 non-member fee in these rates also is a contribution to the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
As travel policies are rapidly changing , final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Please see your travel advisor for additional information.
Reservations: Space is limited. Register by April 14, 2025! After this date please check with AAA Central Penn to determine if space is still available. Full payment is due to AAA Central Penn with completed a registration form to confirm the registration.
Cancellation Penalties: After April 14, 2025 - No refunds.
Travel Insurance: For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance; ask your travel advisor. AAA recommends Allianz.
Travel Assistance: For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of, and will be totally responsible for, providing the needed assistance.
