Itinerary

Friday, January 24, 2025: Depart for Orlando, FL

Transfer by motorcoach from Central PA to a local airport for a flight to Orlando, FL. Transfer from the airport to the hotel for your three night pre-cruise stay. Hotel: Embassy Suites by Hilton International Drive, Orlando, FL (or similar)

Saturday, January 25, 2025: Orlando

After your included hot breakfast buffet, the day will be on your own to take in Orlando and the warm weather. Possibly spend the day at one of Orlando's area theme parks (ticket and transportation not included in the price of the trip). See your Travel Advisor for ideas on how to spend the day.  (Breakfast)
 

Sunday, January 26, 2025: Daytona

After breakfast, spend the day in Daytona.  Get excited for an included tour of the Daytona Beach Speedway. Free time will be offered to enjoy the Daytona Beach Boardwalk or for shopping at the Tanger Outlets. (Breakfast)

      *The Speedway tour is subject to activity on the track during the time of visit. 

Monday, January 27, 2025: Kennedy Space Center & Embarkation

After breakfast travel to the Kennedy Space Center for a visit to the Kennedy Space Center (admission included) before transferring to the pier to embark on the beautiful new ship, UTOPIA OF THE SEAS® (Breakfast)

FRIDAY, January 31, 2025: Disembarkation

Disembark the ship and transfer to the airport for your flight and transportation back to Central PA.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.

General Information

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:

U.S. citizens on homeport cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same U.S. port) are currently able to enter or depart the country with a state issued birth certificate with a raised seal and government-issued photo ID. A government issued photo ID is required for airport security. AAA recommends traveling with an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page for visa stamp(s).

As travel policies are rapidly changing as a result of COVID-19, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Please see your Travel Advisor for additional information. 

Payment:

Deposit of $100 per person/$200 per stateroom will confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by October 31, 2024.

Cancellation Penalties:

Deposit date to day of departure $25 per person, plus…

From Nov 14 – 27, 2024             50% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees
From Nov 28 – Dec 27, 2024     75% of gross fare per person, plus any additional suppliers’ fees
After Dec 27, 2024                     NON-REFUNDABLE

FLIGHT

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airlines 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flight schedules may contain code share agreements. 

INSURANCE

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 day of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz. 

CLOTHING/CLIMATE

Average temperatures in Florida and the Bahamas for January is in the 70s. Daytime, casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Evenings require casual or semiformal attire, with one formal night onboard.

BAGGAGE

One suitcase per person will be allowed. You may also bring a small carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by the airline or airport.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
