Sunday, February 15, 2026 - Depart for Lima, Peru

Transfer by motorcoach from Central, PA to the Philadelphia International Airport for a flight* to Lima, Peru. Arrive in the late evening to the "City of Kings". Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn Miraflores, Lima

Monday, February 16, 2026 - Lima, Peru

Explore the historic city center of Lima, Peru a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Marvel at the stunning artwork in the San Francisco Monastery and immerse yourself in the culture and history of the colonial and republic periods of Lima.  Later in the evening enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travelers featuring masterfully crafted Peruvian dishes. Tuesday, February 17, 2026 - Lima - Cuzco - Sacred Valley

Today you'll board a flight from Lima to Cuzco, Peru.  Once there you'll go on an adventure through the Andes to the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas, the heart of the Incan empire.  Here you'll learn a bit of the local language before continuing on to Pisac village and browse through the colorful handcrafted fares in the market.  Settle into your hotel for the evening which is located in the heart of the Sacred Valley. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 - Sacred Valley - Ollantaytambo -Sacred Valley

After breakfast journey to the stunning Ollantaytambo ruins, the only Incan settlement that has been continually inhabited since its inception. These ruins display the ancient architecture and heritage of the Incan culture.  Afterwards you'll head to the Pablo Seminario Ceramic Studio to learn about the artists techniques and designs inspired by the rich history of the Peruvian cultures. Participate in small group workshops as you immerse yourself in traditional Peruvian culture and daily lives before diving into a home-hosted farm-to-table lunch featuring local specialties. Thursday, February 19, 2026 - Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu

Climb aboard a train to Machu Picchu and marvel at the panoramic views through the Andes mountains on your way to the Lost City of the Incans.  Hidden away through towering mountains and semi-tropical jungle, Machu Picchu is considered to the be the most spectacular highlight in all of South America.  Explore these ancient ruins before nestling in at the base of Machu Picchu for an exclusive culinary demonstration to learn how to make perfect ceviche and pisco sour before dinner. Friday, February 20, 2026 - Machu Picchu - Cuzco

The morning is yours to explore as you wish. Explore the local markets of Aguas Calientes or you may choose to visit Machu Picchu at sunrise.  In the afternoon board the train to return to the Sacred Valley, and once back in Cuzco take time to enjoy and explore the city at your leisure. Saturday, February 21, 2026 - Cuzco

Start the morning with a tour of Cuzco and visit the San Pedro Market, the Koricancha temple, the central Plaza de Armas, and the Cuzco Cathedral.  Afterwards  it's your choice!  You can either journey above the city to the sacred Incan ruins of Sacsayhuaman Fortress,  OR  take a walking tour of San Blas, the traditional old quarter of Cuzco, lined with restaurants and artisan shops. The afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure before meeting up for dinner at a local restaurant featuring the local cuisine of Cuzco. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Sunday, February 22, 2026 - Cuzco - Puno 

This morning board a flight to Puno, a village that hugs the shores of Lake Titicaca the birthplace of the Incan civilization.  Mingle with the locals as you learn about the village and culture of the region before checking into your hotel.  The afternoon and evening are yours to explore at your leisure. Monday, February 23, 2026 - Uros Floating Islands - Lake Titicaca - Chullpas de Sillustan - Puno

Today enjoy a morning cruise to the Uros Floating Islands and walk upon their spongy surface as you meet and mingle with the locals to learn about their heritage and history of the region. Later you'll cruise to a rustic village and dine on a home-hosted meal before visiting Chullpas de Sillustani, a historic 13th century archeological area. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Tuesday, February 24, 2026 - Puno - Lima, Peru - Tour Ends

Spend the morning relaxing on the shores of Lake Titicaca and soaking in the rich heritage of the land before flying back to Lima. Once there, head to the Larco Museum, a former mansion built upon the site of an ancient pre-Columbian temple.  See the ancient artifacts of the Incan culture within the museum with over 3000 years of history.  Your trip will conclude with a farewell dinner on the grounds of the museum before heading to the airport for your flight and transportation back to Central, PA** (Breakfast, Dinner)

Some of the touring days may be longer, with select included activities occurring later in the evening.

A deposit of $698 per person is due at the time of reservation.  Final payment is due to AAA by  November 3, 2025

Flight

Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airline(s) 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flights may contain code share agreements.

Clothing/Climate

The average temperature in Lima, Peru in February ranges between the high 60's to high 70's with slightly cooler temperatures at elevation.  Casual clothes that can be layered work best, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Baggage

Due to limited space while touring, all passengers are limited to one checked bag no more than 50lbs. You may also bring a small carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Soft sided carry-on bags no larger than 17"x14"x4" with a zippered enclosure are recommended. Wheeled carry-on cases that are used as carry-on luggage on airlines are too large and are not suitable as hand-carried luggage. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges may be directly assessed by the airlines or airport.

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.  If you require any special assistance while on tour, please make us aware at time of reservation so the necessary request form can be sent to your attention.  Due to higher elevations, travelers that require special accommodations including CPAP machines will be required to fill out an additional form.
