All pricing and included features are based on a minimum of 30 passengers. Rates are subject to availability at time of booking and included taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges which are subject to change.

ITINERARY:

5:00AM - Motorcoach will depart from AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg.

6:00AM - Motorcoach will depart from Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lititz; travel to New York with a rest stop en route.  
**Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed closer to date of travel.

Morning arrival in New York City to meet our local top rated tour guide to begin touring the past, present and future of   Penn Station, including the newly opened Moynihan Train Hall.  We'll learn about the station history and discover over a dozen indoor and outdoor old-station remnants hidden in plain sight.  Explore the Moynihan Train Hall where we will unearth all its exciting art, hear stories about its creation, and learn about the artists themselves. 

This afternoon you'll have independent time for lunch on your own at on-site restaurants and food stands and shopping at the Grand Central Holiday Fair located inside the historic Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. This elegant indoor market features an eclectic mix of art, clothing, handbags, jewelry, accessories, bath and body items, and more, all made by talented artisans and craftsman. 

Next, we'll meet our local top rated tour guide to tour the  Grand Central Terminal, where we'll discover the many secrets of this New York City Icon. Did you know that close to a million people pass through Grand Central Terminal every day, yet very few know the many stories and secrets which you will learn on this tour.  View the terminal's previously private Campbell apartment which is featured on this tour along with the history and beautiful architecture.

**This is a walking tour and participants should be able to comfortably walk longer distances, at times on uneven surfaces, and stand for extended periods of time.

Tour Activity Level: 2 - This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs, and walk reasonable distances possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.

General Information

This Ramble is subject to cancellation due to insufficient and/or late registration. Please contact the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania or go online at www.rrmuseumpa.org for membership options. Included in these rates is $20.00, which is a contribution to the nonprofit Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. This amount is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. (Contribution may be less if the minimum number of passengers is not achieved.) The $20.00 non-member fee in these rates also is a contribution to the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.

As travel policies are rapidly changing as a result of Covid-19, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Please see your travel advisor for additional information.

Reservations: Space is limited. Register by September 9, 2024! After this date please check with AAA Central Penn to determine if space is still available. Full payment is due to AAA Central Penn with completed registration form to confirm the registration. 

Cancellation Penalties: A $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged by AAA Discoveries in addition to any other supplier’s fees. After September 9, 2024, no refunds.

Travel Insurance: For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance; ask your travel advisor for information. AAA recommends Allianz.

Travel Assistance: For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of, and will be totally responsible for, providing the needed assistance.
