Saturday, July 20, 2024: Travel to Pittsburgh, Baseball Game 

7:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Lititz, from the Penn Cinema building at 541 Airport Road.

8:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn, 2301 Paxton Church Rd, upper lot behind the building; Travel to Pittsburgh, PA. 

**Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed closer to travel. 

Afternoon arrival in Pittsburgh. Lunch will be on your own before checking into the hotel with time to freshen up before we head over to PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. PNC Park sits along the Allegheny River with a view of the Downtown Pittsburgh skyline.  Enjoy the evening taking in the sights and sounds of America's National Pastime as the Pirates take on the Phillies. 

GAME TIME: 6:40 PM Philadelphia Phillies vs. Pittsburgh Pirates.  
Seats are in section 109- 1st base side; close to the Phillies dugout. Hotel:  Residence Inn Pittsburgh North Shore, PA.  ($10 Meal Voucher)

Sunday, July 21, 2024: Baseball Game, Travel to Central Pennsylvania 

After breakfast you'll have leisure time to get out and explore all that Pittsburgh has to offer.  This afternoon get ready for game two as the Pirates take on the Phillies again! 
 
GAME TIME:  1:35 PM Philadelphia Phillies vs. Pittsburgh Pirates.  
Seats are in section 117- behind home plate that overlooks the entire Pittsburgh skyline! They are also undercover and protected from the sun.

Following the game depart for Central Pennsylvania with a fast food dinner stop en-route. (Breakfast, $10 Meal Voucher) 

Hotel and itinerary are subject to change at any time without notification and/or compensation.

**The hotel is located directly across from PNC Park. The group will walk from the hotel to the ballpark each day for the game. All registrants should be prepared to walk from the hotel to the ballpark (about a 1-2 minute walk)

Activity Level: 3

This tour requires moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, upstairs, or on uneven walking surfaces, should be expected.

As travel policies are rapidly changing due to COVID-19, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Please see your Travel Advisor for additional information. 

Payment

A $150 per person deposit is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by May 20, 2024.
 

Cancellation/Penalties

A $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged by Discoveries in addition to any other supplier’s fees. From   May 20, 2024 to day of departure no refunds.

Insurance

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

Clothing/Climate

Temperatures for Pittsburgh in July average in the 80s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather. 

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
