6:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lititz, Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lititz.

7:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Rd; travel to New Jersey with a rest stop en-route.

Arrive at Toms River for some mid-day magic aboard the River Lady, a 150 passenger, 85' authentic reproduction of a paddle wheel riverboat that captures the ambiance of a 19th century Mississippi Paddleboat.  As we cruise on the magnificent Toms River and Barnegat Bay of New Jersey, we'll enjoy the tranquility of the sea air while being served a delightful lunch. During the cruise your Captain will present fascinating and historical narration of the interesting and lovely area. We'll pass elegant waterfront homes, magnificent properties, and some of the most beautiful sights in the area. After the memorable cruise we'll head to historic Smithville. Spend leisure time on your own to enjoy this charming village, to walk along the cobblestone pathways, and venture through the 60 unique shops and restaurants. If you need a distraction from all the shopping and eating be sure to check out the carousel, train and paddle boats. (fees for the carousel, train and paddleboats are not included in the package price) 

5:30PM: Approximate departure time for Central Pennsylvania with a fast food stop en-route.

8:30PM: Approximate arrival time back in Harrisburg.

9:30PM: Approximate arrival time back in Lancaster.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.

Payment

Full payment of $269 Adult per person, $249 Child per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation. 

Cancellation/Penalties

After June 7, 2024, No refunds.

Insurance

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

Clothing/Climate 

Temperatures for New Jersey in August average in the 80s. Casual clothes that can be layered and comfortable walking shoes that are waterproof are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.    

Travel Assistance 

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
