Whether you're seeking panoramic vistas or picturesque views, both regions provide awe-inspiring sights and a warm welcome with a rich sense of history. After checking into the hotel, take time to relax and freshen up, before a delightful welcome dinner. Hotel: Indian Head Resort, Lincoln, NH. (Dinner)

Tuesday, August 27: Clarks Trading Post, Fadden's General Store & Maple Sugarhouse

After breakfast, step back in time and embrace the nostalgia at Clark's Trading Post. This enchanting destination captures the spirit of yesteryear, transporting visitors to a bygone era of Americana charm. Take a ride on the vintage stream train, its rhythmic chugging echoing memories of simpler times. Marvel at the awe-inspiring bear shows, a tradition that has captivated generations with their incredible talents and mischievous antics. Wander through the Americana Museum, filled with fascinating artifacts that tell the story of a vibrant past. Then we'll visit Fadden's General Store & Maple Sugarhouse where fifth-generation Fadden's still own and operate this authentic 18th century General Store, complete with squeaky floors and original counters and display cases. We'll continue on to Loon Mountain where we'll board the White Mountain Express Gondola ride to the summit of Loon Peak. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner together. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Wednesday, August 28: Winnipesaukee Railroad & M/S Mount Washington Cruise

After breakfast, we'll meet our guide and depart for a day of touring the Lakes Region. We'll begin onboard the Winnipesaukee Railroad for a nostalgic excursion along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. The railroad line was built in 1849 by the Boston & Maine Railroad which brought tourists to the lake for summer vacations from the late 1890's to the 1950's. In Weir's Beach disembark the train and board the M/S Mount Washington for a scenic lunch cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest lake with 72 square miles of water surface and 283 miles of shoreline. Lake Winnipesaukee is surrounded by three mountain ranges and dotted with 264 islands. Later this afternoon, enjoy touring through the Lakes Region and the scenic Kancamagus highway before returning to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner together. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Thursday, August 29: Franconia Notch State Park, Mount Washington Hotel, Cog Railway

After breakfast, depart with our guide as we drive though Franconia Notch State Park, located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Franconia Notch is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway which extends from the Flume Gorge, at the south, to Echo Lake, at the north. It was the home of the famous Old Man of the Mountain, the same “Great Stone Face” immortalized by Nathaniel Hawthorne and Daniel Webster. We'll visit the Flume Gorge Visitor Center for a 20-minute movie showcasing beautiful Franconia Notch State Park. Then, venture to the Mount Washington Cog Railway for an unforgettable and exciting "once in a lifetime" railing experience. In 1869, the Cog Railway was an engineering marvel, a technology of toothed cog gears, rack rails, and tilted boilers. Enjoy spectacular views as we travel up some of the steepest railroad tracks in existence. This afternoon, visit the historic Omni Mount Washington Hotel. A grand masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance architecture, The Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, was a two-year labor of love for 250 master craftsmen. Conceived by industrialist Joseph Stickney, this National Historic Landmark opened in 1902 and immediately became a favorite summer haunt for poets, presidents and princes. Enjoy a guided tour of this magnificent hotel followed by a festive wine and cheese reception. Tonight, we'll have a delicious farewell dinner. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Friday, August 30: Depart for Central Pennsylvania
