Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida

We will start our adventure at Cape Canaveral. Explore many sightings such as the Kennedy Space Center, take an airboat ride through the St. John River marshlands, or even visit the Brevard Zoo.

Fun things to do:

  • Visit Manatee Sanctuary Park a beautiful spot for picnicking or kayaking, keep an eye out for mantaees and dolphins.
  • Climb to the top of Exploration Tower for panoramic views of the port.
  • Stop at Florida Key Lime Pie Company for a treat and sample their signature key lime pie. 
     

Perfect Day CocoCay, Bahamas

Enjoy the day on Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day CocoCay. Slide down the tallest waterslide in North America, view the beautiful scenery 450 feet up in a helium balloon.

Fun things to do:

  • Relax in Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. It also features an underwater soundtrack.
  • Enjoy a beverage at one of the three swim-up bar islands.
  • Enjoy Thrill Water park featuring 13 waterslides.
     

Nassau, Bahamas

Visit Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas on the island of New Providence known for its beaches and offshore coral reefs. 


Fun things to do:

  • Climb the Queens Staircase, a 150- foot deep canyon and historic landmark built in the 1700s. It was created as an escape route for soldiers expecting to have to flee from the French from a nearby fort.
  • Visit two Forts; Fort Fincastle is near Queen’s Staircase and offers a panoramic view of Nassau Harbour. Fort Charlotte features a moat, dungeons, underground passages and forty-two cannons.
  • Enjoy water-skiing, parasailing, snorkeling

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.

General Information

Travel Documents: 

U.S. citizens on homeport cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same U.S. port) are currently able to enter or depart the country with a state issued birth certificate with a raised seal and government issued photo ID. AAA recommends traveling with an original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page for visa stamp(s).

As travel policies are rapidly changing, as a result of COVID-19, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Please see your Travel Advisor for additional information. 

Payment:

Deposit of $250 per person/ $500 per cabin will confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by  August 12, 2024.

Cancellation Penalties:

From Sept 11- Sept 24, 2024 -                   50% of gross fare per person, plus any additional supplier's fees

Insurance:

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medial conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

Clothing/Climate:

Average temperatures in the Bahamas for November and December are in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Daytime, casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Evenings require casual or semi-formal attire, with two formal nights.

Baggage:

Two suitcases per person will be allowed by the cruise line. You may also bring a small carry-on bag. 

Travel Assistance:

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
