Highlights
6:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Road, upper lot behind the building.
7:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lititz, Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lititz; travel to Annapolis with a brief rest stop en route.
**Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed closer to travel.
Morning arrival in Annapolis, MD to meet our guide for a walking tour of the U.S. Naval Academy. At the USNA, you will experience the sense of military tradition and heritage all around. Your visit may include the interiors of Naval Academy Chapel, Crypt of John Paul Jones a famous Revolutionary War hero, Bancroft Hall- the world's largest dormitory, Lejeune Hall Sports Complex where several Heisman trophies are on display, USNA Museum located in Preble Hall- houses the largest 17th & 18th century model ship exhibit in North America, and the Jewish Chapel & Levy Center. See the "Noon Formations" where the entire Brigade lines up by company. Each battalion is called out as present and accounted for, and drum cadence beats as the midshipmen march in precision to lunch. (all sites and interiors are subject to availability on the day of the tour). This afternoon enjoy lunch at the Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub. Then board a boat for a 1 1/2 hour cruise under the twin spans of the Bay Bridge, one of the longest over-water structures in the world, while taking in the sights and breezes of the Chesapeake Bay. After the cruise you'll have leisure time in Annapolis for dinner on your own. **This tour requires a considerable amount of walking. There will also be long periods of standing on your feet while touring the US Naval Academy.
6:00PM: Approximate departure time for Central Pennsylvania with a rest stop en-route.
8:30PM: Approximate arrival time back in Lititz.
9:30PM: Approximate arrival time back in Harrisburg.
Tour Activity Level: 3
Moderate- Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. This activity level is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility concerns.

Travel Documents and Requirements
A government issued photo I.D. is required (such as a driver’s license). An additional form of identification such as an SSN card, student ID, birth certificate, or voter registration card is also required. An original, unexpired passport will gain admittance in lieu of a drivers license and second form of ID. PLEASE NOTE- All bags larger than a typical purse, including duffle bags, backpacks, and large camera bags are prohibited from being taken through the USNA gates. All bags will be subject to search by a USNA screener. As travel policies are rapidly changing, final requirements will be communicated prior to departure. Payment
Full payment of $299 Per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation.
Cancellation/Penalties
After February 1, 2025, No refunds.
Insurance
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures for Annapolis in April average in the low 60s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
