8:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Lititz, from the Penn Cinema building at, 541 Airport Road; travel to Annapolis, MD with a rest stop en-route.

Morning arrival in Annapolis, Maryland to enjoy and explore the waterfront. This afternoon board a boat for a two hour cruise which will include opportunities to view the Blue Angels, as they perform above us. The Blue Angels are the United States Navy's flight demonstration squadron. It was formed in 1946 making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world. The Blue Angels' six demonstration pilots fly the F/A-18 Hornet in more than 70 shows, at 34 locations throughout the United States each year. They still employ many of the same practices and techniques used in their aerial displays from 1946. An estimated 11 million spectators view the squadron during air shows each year. Don't miss the chance to see this spectacular event. Following the cruise, enjoy spending independent time in Annapolis, with 18th century buildings. It’s like stepping back in time to the days when the city was a colonial seaport. Leisure time is included for an early dinner on your own. Annapolis has a large variety of restaurants to satisfy every taste.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.

Full payment of $259.00 per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation.  

Cancellation/Penalties

After March 21, 2025, No refunds.

Insurance

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

Clothing/Climate

Temperatures for Maryland in May average in the 70s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
