This afternoon arrive to the Gold Coast, a  Who's Who of High Society. From the turn of the century through the 1930's the North Shore was THE place to be for some of the most notable Americans, including the Astor's to the Vanderbilt's. Also, F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous historical novel, The Great Gatsby, was inspired by one or more of Long Island Gold Coast Mansion's!  We'll have a guided tour of one of these opulent mansions followed by checking into the hotel for a three night stay, with time to freshen up before dinner. Hotel: Hyatt Place Long Island, Riverhead, NY (Dinner)

Wednesday, June 19: Sag Harbor, Whaling Museum, Vineyard visit with a private tasting.

After breakfast, we'll meet our local guide to embark on a wonderful day of touring. Begin with a historic tour arriving to the village of Sag Harbor once a bustling port town where whalers of all nationalities converged. Visit Sag Harbor Whaling Museum to learn about local history as you walk through exhibits housed in a 19th century mansion. This afternoon enjoy independent time to stroll up Main Street and visit its old-time storefronts, antique shops and have lunch on your own.  Following lunch we'll head over to 'North Fork', named one of the Top Ten Wine Regions in the World by Wine Enthusiast magazine, where we'll visit one of Long Island's award-winning vineyards for a private tasting. Tonight, the evening will be on your own to explore and have dinner on your own. (Breakfast)

Thursday, June 20: The Hamptons, and Montauk Point Lighthouse

After breakfast we’ll meet our local guide for a day of sightseeing and touring “South Fork”. Most notably known as ‘The Hamptons’, we will explore what is considered the summer playground of the rich and famous, where today’s most well-known celebrities own summer homes. Enjoy some free time in South Hampton to visit the charming shops and eateries before setting off for a drive along 'billionaire lane' where Wall Street execs, CEOs, and celebrities alike, live in multimillion-dollar mansions along this famous beachfront stretch and visit one of  America’s “top 10 beaches”. Continue to Montauk Point State Park for a visit to the Montauk Point Lighthouse, commissioned by George Washington in 1792. With its breathtaking views, the Montauk Point Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in New York State and majestically stands at Long Island’s easternmost point. Tonight, enjoy a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. (Breakfast, Dinner)
