Tuesday, September 9:
6:45 AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lancaster, Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Rd; travel to Saratoga Springs, New York with an included lunch stop en route.
**Departure time is approximate and will be confirmed prior to travel.
Following lunch we'll enjoy a scenic train ride on the Saratoga, Corinth & Hudson Railway. Tonight check into the hotel with time to freshen up before our included dinner. Hotel: Hampton Inn & Suites, Saratoga Springs, NY (Lunch & Dinner Included)
Wednesday, September 10:
After breakfast we'll depart for Montreal, Canada with a stop for lunch on your own. This afternoon visit the Canadian Railway Museum/ExpoRail, the largest train museum in Canada. Then check into the hotel with the remainder of the evening on your own to explore the area and have dinner on your own. Hotel: Hampton Inn by Hilton, Montreal Downtown, Quebec. (Breakfast included)
Thursday, September 11:
After breakfast meet our local guide for a tour of Montreal, soaking in the city's cultures and landmarks. Montreal is renowned for its historic Old Port, stunning Notre-Dame Basilica, and bustling neighborhoods like Plateau Mont-Royal and Mile End. Depart for Quebec City, founded in 1608 by Samuel de Champlain, is one of North America's oldest cities and a UNESCO world Heritage Site. Upon arrival check into the hotel with time to freshen up for dinner. Hotel: Hotel Palace Royal, Quebec. (Breakfast, Dinner included)
Friday, September 12:
After breakfast meet our local guide for a comprehensive tour of Quebec City exploring its historic sites and charming streets. Quebec City's Old Town is enclosed by fortified walls and features landmarks like the Citadelle of Quebec and the iconic Chateau Frontenac. Enjoy lunch at the Chateau Frontenac. Following lunch, the rest of the day and evening are at your leisure to explore. (Breakfast, Lunch included)
Saturday, September 13:
After breakfast depart for the train station to board the Charlevoix Train for a scenic round trip ride from Quebec City towards Baies-Saint-Paul. Sit back and take in the views of the St. Lawrence River and the Picturesque Charlevoix region. You'll have time for lunch on your own in Baie-Saint Paul during the excursion. This evening return to the hotel with the rest of the day at your leisure. (Breakfast included)
Sunday, September 14:
After breakfast depart for a scenic drive to Vermont with appropriate stops en route. Arrive in Burlington, located on Lake Champlain, which is known for its scenic beauty and vibrant arts community. Check into the hotel with time to freshen up before boarding the Champlain Valley Dinner Train for a unique dining experience. Hotel: Hilton Garden Inn, Burlington, VT. ( Breakfast, Dinner Train included)
Monday, September 15:
After breakfast depart for Middlebury Vermont to visit the University of Vermont's Morgan Horse Farm. The farm showcases the history and significance of the Morgan horse, America's first horse breed. This afternoon enjoy lunch at the Gideon Putnam Hotel. Following lunch depart for Central PA with a dinner stop at Clinton Station Diner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs, and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets.

This Ramble is subject to cancellation due to insufficient and/or late registration. Please contact the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania or go online at www.rrmuseumpa.org for membership options. Included in these rates is $75.00, which is a contribution to the nonprofit Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. This amount is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. (Contribution may be less if the minimum number of passengers is not achieved.) The $35.00 non-member fee in these rates is also a contribution to the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
Travel Documents
Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank Visa page for Visa stamp(s) is required for this tour.
*Canada reserves the right to deny entry to anyone with a felony conviction, including a DUI record. AAA is not responsible if you are denied entry to Canada and no refund will be provided.

Reservations
Please register by May 1, 2025. Reservations are available on a first-come basis. Space is limited. A deposit of $300 per person is due to AAA Central Penn with completed registration form to confirm the reservation.
Full payment is due to AAA Central Penn by July 1, 2025.
Cancellation/Penalties
From the date of deposit, a $25 per person cancellation fee will be charged by AAA Discoveries in addition to any other supplier's fees. After July 1, 2025: 100% Non-Refundable
Insurance
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures in this region of Canada and the Northern Tier in September average in the upper 60s with cooler mornings and evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered work best along with comfortable walking shoes.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
