Sunday, November 3: Reykjavik and Krauma Geothermal Spa

Trade the urban landscape for stunning, rugged countryside as we discover Children's Waterfall. This remarkable waterfall, off the beaten path, showcases Iceland's natural beauty. Once at the falls, we'll learn the legend of how it earned its name before continuing toward the Krauma Geothermal Spa. Here, we'll have an opportunity to soak in geothermal natural baths fed from Europe’s most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver. Return to Reykjavik for an evening on your own. (Breakfast)

Monday, November 4: Hvolsvollur Valley

Today, the beauty of the Golden Circle awaits. Our first visit is Thingvellir National Park, where we can walk between the European and American tectonic plates. En-route to the famed Geysir, stop at a geothermal bakery for a unique culinary experience highlighting how the local community harnesses the region's natural resources. Take in the stunning Strokkur Geyser and Old Geyser. Our last stop will be the iconic Golden Waterfall, Gullfoss. Arrive this evening at our countryside hotel, the perfect location for a chance to catch the Northern Lights! Hotel! Hotel Eyjafjallajokull, Hvolsvollur Valley (Breakfast)

Tuesday, November 5: Kirkjubæjarklaustur

Our adventure takes us south today to Reynisfjara Beach, the most famous black sand beach in Iceland. Here, we learn about the Reynisdrangar sea stacks and see why this beach is an iconic filming location for movies like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story  in 2016 and Star Trek Into Darkness in 2013.  We continue to the small town of Vik where we experience the power of molten lava (at a safe distance!) during a visit to the Icelandic Lava Show. Together, we'll learn about the immense geothermal energy that Iceland is known for. Tonight, we head out for another possible chance to view the Northern Lights. Hotel: Hotel Klaustur, Kirkjubæjarklaustur (Breakfast)

Wednesday, November 6: Skaftafell National Park and Reykjavik

Today we visit the waterfalls in Skaftafell National Park. The untouched natural beauty will leave you breathless.
