5:00AM: Motorcoach will depart from Lititz, PA. Penn Cinema 541 Airport Road, Lititz.

6:00AM: Motorcoach will depart Harrisburg, AAA Central Penn office, 2301 Paxton Church Rd, upper lot behind building; travel to Virginia with a brief rest stop enroute.

Morning arrival to the White Oak Lavender Farm & Purple WOLF Vineyard, a family owned farm located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. While visiting we'll enjoy a guided tour of the farm gardens with information provided on growing lavender, distilling and cleaning the flower buds, along with time to pick some lavender and browse The Lavender Shop. Following the tour we will enjoy a catered lunch and wine tasting at The Purple WOLF Vineyards. Following lunch we'll depart for Belle Grove Plantation, a late 18th century plantation house and estate. Experience a guided tour with an informative look at the rich history, Jeffersonian architecture, serene landscape and important collections of the Belle Grove Plantation.

**There is walking involved with this tour and participants should be able to comfortably walk longer distances, at times on uneven surfaces, and stand for extended periods of time.

5:00PM: Approximate departure time for Central PA with fast food dinner stop en route

9:00PM:  Approximate arrival time back in Harrisburg

10:00PM: Approximate arrival time back in Lititz.

This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, up stairs, or on uneven walking surfaces, should be expected.

Payment

Full payment of $289 per person is due to AAA with this registration to confirm your reservation.  

Cancellation/Penalties

After April 6, 2024, No refunds.

Insurance

For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.

Clothing/Climate

Temperatures for Virginia in June average in the 80s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.

Travel Assistance

For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
