Thursday, June 11th, 2025: Depart from Central PA to Salt Lake City, Utah
Transfer by motorcoach from Central, PA to a local international airport for a flight to Salt Lake City, Utah. Hotel: Grand America Hotel

Friday, June 12th, 2025: Salt Lake City, Utah to Moab, Utah
Begin your day with an early morning transfer from your hotel to the train station. There you'll board the Canyon Spirit and embark on a relaxing journey through the rugged natural beauty of the southwest. You'll travel through areas such as Wasatch Mountains, the historic Thistle Tunnel, Castle Gate, and Price Canyon on your way to Thompson Springs and Moab. Hotel: TBD (Breakfast, Lunch, beverages, and snacks provided on board the train)
Saturday, June 13th, 2025: Moab, Utah to Glenwood Springs, Colorado
The morning is yours to explore at your leisure through downtown Moab. Experience the sights of this quaint town or perhaps take in an early morning hike on one of the many trails. In the afternoon you'll have a transfer to the train station to board the Canyon Spirit and begin the journey to Glenwood Springs. On board you'll be treated to two locally-inspired meals for lunch and dinner, and beverages and snacks will be available as well. Hotel: TBD (Lunch, Dinner, beverages, and snacks provided on board the train)
Sunday, June 14th, 2025: Glenwood Springs - Denver
Today you'll have an early morning transfer to board the Canyon Spirit as you journey to Denver, Colorado. You'll pass through impressive canyons, the Moffat Tunnel, and you'll cross the continental divide on this leg of your tour. Hotel: Hotel Indigo Denver (Breakfast, Lunch, beverages, and snacks provided on board the train)
Monday, June 15th, 2025: Denver
After breakfast, you'll be able to enjoy a 4-hour motorcoach tour of Denver and to soak in the sights and culture of this impressive mountain city. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore at your leisure. Make sure to experience the wide array of arts and foods that are well known in downtown Denver. Hotel: Hotel Indigo Denver
Tuesday, June 16th, 2025: Denver to Central Penn
Today we say farewell to the southwest region and all the fun memories. We'll check out of the hotel and head to the Denver International Airport for a flight back to Central Pennsylvania. Once there, a motorcoach transfer will return you to your drop off locations for the end of your tour.

Tour Activity Level: 3
Moderate- Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. This activity level is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility concerns.

Payment
A deposit of $1500 per person will confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by March 27, 2026.
Cancellation Penalties
From January 5th to April 10th, 2026 - $1500, plus any applicable suppliers fees
From April 11th to April 26th, 2026 - 50% of total price per person, plus any applicable suppliers
After April 26th, 2026- 100% NON-REFUNDABLE
* Airfare is non-refundable after the final payment of March 27, 2026
Insurance
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel advisor. AAA recommends Allianz.
Flight
Air arrangements are handled by the tour operator. Seat assignments cannot be confirmed until the tour operator releases names to the airlines 30 days prior to departure. Specific seat requests cannot be guaranteed. Some flight schedules may contain code share agreements.
Clothing/Climate
The average daytime temperature in Utah and Colorado in June is in the mid 50's to mid 80's with cooler morning and evenings. Pack for a variety of temperatures. Casual clothes that can be layered work best. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Baggage
Due to limited space while touring, all passengers are limited to one checked bag no more than 50lbs. You may also bring a small carry-on bag small enough to fit under your seat. Soft sided carry on bags no larger than 17"x14"x4" with a zippered enclosure are recommended. Wheeled carry-on cases that are used as carry-on luggage on airlines are too large and are not suitable as hand-carried luggage. Baggage fees are not included in the price of the trip. Baggage fees and other charges will be directly assessed by the airlines or the airport.
Travel Assistance
For personal comfort, group participants who need assistance are required to have a traveling companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the needed assistance.
