Thursday, April 16: Depart for Virginia Beach
Depart Central, PA by motorcoach and travel to Virginia Beach, VA with appropriate rest and meal stops en-route.
**Early morning departure- exact timing will be confirmed closer to travel.
Check in to your newly renovated hotel, centrally located on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk! Take time to relax and freshen up before an included dinner at a local Virginia Beach restaurant. Friday, April 17: Virginia Beach - Spirit of Norfolk Dinner Cruise
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and a leisurely morning. There will be time to stroll along the boardwalk or relax on the beach. Later, meet a local guide and depart for a tour of the Virginia Beach area. Visit First Landing Cross, commemorating the site where English settlers first landed in 1607- thirteen years before the Pilgrims arrived at Plymouth Rock. Continue with a photo stop at the historic Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, which has long guarded the entrance to Chesapeake Bay. Next visit the Military Aviation Museum, home to one of the world's largest private collections of restored World War II and Korean War era fighters, bombers, trainers, and seaplanes. Then, we'll head to Norfolk for a brief tour highlighting the city's history and charming historic districts. Explore the MacArthur Memorial, an impressive tribute to General Douglas MacArthur. This evening, embark on a scenic 2 1/2-hour dinner cruise aboard the Spirit of Norfolk along the Elizabeth River, passing notable landmarks such as the Nauticus, Portsmouth Marine Terminals, Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Lamberts Point Coal Piers, and more. Saturday, April 18: Parade of Nations - Virginia International Tattoo
After breakfast depart the hotel for a day to remember, filled with military pageantry! Travel back to Norfolk and settle into your reserved seats at the Parade of Nations, featuring marching bands, Tattoo performers, colorful floats, and decorated NATO officials representing NATO member nations. Following the parade there will be some time to explore the International Village in Town Point Park at your leisure. Next, board the Victory Rover for an exciting cruise offering front-row views of Naval Station Norfolk, the largest naval installation in the world. You can gaze at the impressive naval ships up close. A boxed lunch will be provided to enjoy while on the cruise. After the cruise, visit the Nauticus Maritime Museum and tour the Battleship Wisconsin, the largest battleship to serve during World War II, the Korean War, and the Persian Gulf War. Enjoy an included dinner before experiencing the highlight of the day, the Virginia International Tattoo, the largest tattoo performance in the United States. This amazing event features an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime cast of 1,500 performers uniting in tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the U.S. Armed Forces. Sunday, April 19: Depart for Central Pennsylvania
After breakfast at the hotel, board the motorcoach and travel back to Central PA with appropriate rest and meal stops en-route. (Breakfast)

Tour Activity Level: 3
Moderate- Good mobility is required for this trip. Climbing stairs and standing for 2-3 hours at a time, as well as walking on uneven terrain may be necessary. Portions of the itinerary may include higher altitudes. The itinerary may involve longer days up to 12-14 hours in length. This activity level is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility concerns.

Payment
A $300 per person deposit is due at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due to AAA by February 13, 2026.
Cancellation/Penalties
After the final payment date of February 13, 2026 the trip is 100% non-refundable.
Insurance
For your protection AAA recommends travel insurance. Pre-existing medical conditions may be waived with proper coverage if travel insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit only. Other conditions may apply; ask your travel agent. AAA recommends Allianz.
Clothing/Climate
Temperatures for Virginia in April average in the 60s. Casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes are recommended; be prepared for potential inclement weather.
Travel Assistance
